satirizing Glenn Beck and his tactics when relaying the "news." He got a taste of his own medicine.

Obviously, the point was lost on you because regardless of what I post, you're right there, stalking me with hateful replies, having already judged me without even knowing me, and that's sad.

Hope you have a wonderful day. :-)

P.S. Since my posts seem to cause you such distress, I'd suggest that you not read them, ahem....watc....ahem.

Nobody is stalking you. Do you even realize what you are doing? - just me

You posted five times this morning right in a row. It's not how many times you post. You can post 20 or more for all I care, but it's the content of your posts. Again anyone can post anything they want, I don't care, but it's almost like you're looking for trouble. The first time I read this post it looks like you are happy about some rape and murder of a child. I'm thinking who in their right mind is happy about the rape and murder of a child, so I read your link and I cannot figure it out. Are they saying Beck raped and murdered a child? If so, why isn't he in jail. I just don't understand it. But then again it's a story from a site called Rawstory.com - very liberal and like Huffington Post, most of the time not true and hateful towards conservatives. I'm not a big Beck fan. I used to like him then realized yeah, he's bringing out facts, but he has no solutions. Just talk. So turned him off and my blood pressure is under better control. :-) Anyway...you always post stories gleefully cutting down conservatives and after awhile you just gotta say give it a rest.

Maybe your post wasn't joking about raping a child, but I did think your choice of words were a little strange. And once again, it's not you personally, it's the content of the material you post. If you believe in your mind that people are "stalking" or "out to get you", then the most sensible thing would be to change your moniker. But I do believe you know deep down that it is the content of your posts, and therefore changing your moniker would not make a difference. Most of the time I do just skip by your posts, but every once in awhile you'll have something decent to say. They don't distress me, I just know most of the time its a cut down of conservatives and has a message that borders on being, let's see how I can say this nicely "a tad less nice" to one political group that is not your group. But again as a poster that is your prerogative.

But once again, nobody is stalking you.
It wasn't my "choice of words." I copied the title of the article. - Nikki

There was no child raped. The article fully explained what was being done. I'm sorry you didn't understand it.

I would NEVER be happy about anything bad happening to a child. That wasn't the case here. IT DID NOT HAPPEN.

Perhaps I am left leaning, but I'm in the minority on this board. Are you equally upset with those who constantly bash the left wing? And what about my posts that aren't all that flattering to Obama? They're on here, as well.

Regarding my moniker, at least I have one. I don't have anything to hide. I guess 20 different people have the same style and...."nm" endings with never any message inside. I guess they ALL use that style, never have anything good to say and are constantly angry-sounding -- not just to me but with each and every person he/she doesn't like.

If I offended you in any way, I apologize.
You didnt offend me - no apology necessary - just me
[ In Reply To ..]
I don't think I said I was offended in my post.

The only thing is you are posting left-wing articles, and you seem pretty happy to cut down conservatives, and it seemed like your post about Beck was happy about it. I opened up the board to see what was being discussed and thought wow...five in a row LOL. The first I opened I saw you had a story from rawstory. I rolled my eyes and closed the message.

I think the point of my post was whenever someone disagrees with you, you claim you are being "stalked" or "everyone's out to get me, just because of who I am". There are a few on this board who like to claim this.

All I'm saying is nobody stalks anyone. It's the content of the message that people respond to.
Please see message. - Nikki

The one from Raw Story was a videotape of one of Stephen Colbert's "Better Know a District," and I thought it was funny and wanted to share something that might bring a smile to someone's face. The response I got was that I should get a job.

The one from Huffington Post provided an example of Fox News fact-checking a story. They are always being accused of NOT fact-checking, and I was trying to point out something positive about them.

I posted something the other day that contradicted Obama's assertion that unemployment was only 10.2%, that it in fact was much higher than that when you factor in unemployment, underemployment, people who stopped looking, etc.

I posted posts about Wall Street record bonuses and Pfizer breaking the law by promoting drugs for unapproved use. Not even one response.

I posted a post about Rupert Murdoch threatening to block Google. I would have posted that same post if it had applied to MSNBC or CNN or another network.

I realized that I had been a little TOO "left-handed" in many of my posts, and I was trying to change that, but it doesn't matter. You yourself said you opened the link and then closed it again, and I get that because I do the same thing with Glenn Beck and Fox, in general, though I do like Shepard Smith. Whether these sites lean left or right, somewhere in the middle is the truth, and if I can Google the story and then find it elsewhere, then I post it.
I do see you post a lot of different topics - just me
[ In Reply To ..]
To be truthful, it's not always your moniker, it's the content of the story that I don't read...what I mean by that is that I don't have a lot of time. The story about Pfizer, google, stuff like that I don't read simply because I just don't have a lot of time and had to start limiting myself on this board otherwise I will not get my work done (like now LOL).

In all fairness to you, you do post articles that are not always "to the left". But when you do post one it sure is a "doozy". (meant that in great humor). The only thing I am saying is when you do post these type of articles, you must surely know there are going to be people who will disagree with you. Disagreeing and harassment are two different things and to report someone as harassing when they are not is as bad as calling someone a racist when what they say has no racist content. We all get cut down if we post a link from Fox or another conservative website. We are always told the article is not valid because it came from Fox or a conservative site. Yet these people (I'm not saying you), but I've seen the same people who say our articles are not valid will post articles from Huffington or Raw Story. By the way...used to like Shep Smith until I saw him pretty much "attack" a nurse who came on to say she didn't get the flu vaccine. He was so rude to her I lost all respect for him as a journalist. Now I just don't watch the channel. I don't trust any of the news I hear on TV because they are not telling the real news.

Anyway...sorry to get side tracked. All I'm saying is when you post an article that's "left" just be expected people are not going to agree with you. Just get a thick skin, skip it and move on.
Please see message. - Nikki

For what it's worth, what you have been doing is discussing this issue. You haven't used this forum for the sole intent of insulting someone.

This board would be much better off if more people took the time to discuss things the way you do.

You may not like some of my posts or have time to read them, but the time you took today to address the immediate issue shows that people can disagree without being disagreeable.

Thank you for that. :-)
No problemo (just watched terminator) :-) - just me
[ In Reply To ..]
I try to stick to the issues and discussion and I will even admit if I'm wrong on some things. But I do have to say sometimes I will do a one-liner. Sometimes a one-liner is all that's needed if someone thinks an article is "out there" (i.e. total bu!!). I can't ever remember any particular post taking a personal jab at anyone. But if I read something I think its total bu!! I will say so. And you should see some of the replies I get to some things I post. LOL Just laugh it off.

People will always disagree. Don't ever take things personally.

Actually, it's pathetic what people think is funny these days - Satire? Oh.. hahahaha.. not. nm
