She IS totally correct in the last minute or so. It's not up to the government, it's up to us to fund the 401's to the max, to get out of debt, etc.
I have the utmost respect for Suze, and agree - with most of what she says, but - sm

If I can't get out of this MT hole I'm in currently, and find a job that actually pays, instead of slowly sucks the lifeblood out of me, I'm going to have to raid whatever is left in my 401K to pay rent. (If there's anything left in it. I gave up looking at the balance when I could no longer afford to fund it, and after the second Stock Market collapse in 2007 (the first one being after 9/11, which my account NEVER recovered from).
The Stock Market (and it's greedy shareholders) are a big part of what got us all into this mess. Many good companies (MTSOs included) turn bad once they offer stock in the company. They everyone wants money, money, money instead of quality. Who pays the bill? The people who actually work for those companies. Their extra cash comes out of our empty pockets.
