Serious question - is anyone here learning anything from SM
Posted: Oct 16, 2013
the conservative-based posts here? I don't want liberals/progressives to answer this. I mean people who might read but not post. ;
No. Heard most of them already on - Fox

We're fully informed.
Oh wait! I learned that most folks who use motorized carts are - "just obese."

Where's the personal responsibility?!!?
I said not liberals/progressives. I really want to know. nm - MT58

no. - what I learned here
[ In Reply To ..]
is how much hate there is in this world, and how much intolerance of other people's points of view. Not a good learning experience, at all. Negativity breeds negativity and in all honesty, I wish some of these people would just plain stop breeding. period.
I don't think you should take that so personally. It was - just a blanket statement.

Everything on this board - is personal

nothing is just a blanket statement.

When was the last time you saw a skinny person using a motorized cart? Oh, and with healthy food in it too? Like never.
Well, if you are ever unfortunate enough to (sm) - Libby

require the assistance of a wheelchair (or a cart in a store), at least you already know what people will be thinking of you, so good work!!!
If I do ever get to that point - sm

I'd get my own darn cart. Phooey on the WalMart ones. Get my own, put all terrain tires on it, plus a larger motor so I can go faster, paint it hot pink with skulls with streamers on the handles, and make the back up beep into a Darth Vader voice saying "out of my way puny human, I'm backing up!" Oh, and a larger basket complete with motorized grabbers so I can reach stuff on the top shelf.
Boo ya!
Yes, I learn a lot. They give very valuable insight - and thought provoking articles
[ In Reply To ..]
I've learned about issues going on in the country I don't hear about through the regular media. I'm learning more about the issues from conservative posters, and learning that the liberal posters are only interested in insulting others. If a conservative brings up an issue with a link they are met with ridicule.
I've learned:
What OC really means for a lot of people. What small businesses are going to be going through through.
I've learned about some resolutions the conservatives are trying to get passed for a compromise, but that democrats won't even listen. I learned Harry Reid is saying some pretty whacky things.
Learned a lot about the health care issue and what it's going to really mean for people and what kind of a system it will throw everyone in and learned that liberals don't like anyone to write about it here.
Learned about issues that are being voted on.
Learned the House is trying to reopen the govt and coming up with resolutions, but the democrats are not working with them.
Reading a lot of good articles the conservatives are posting, but liberals are only interesting in bashing and not discussing issues. Much more fun for them to cut down anyone with an opposing issue.
I learned that when a comedian is praising Obama that comedian is the funniest guy on earth with praises of "he got that one right", but when a comedian makes a joke about an issue and it does not favor Obama liberals reply with things like "does anyone even watch him anymore" or "he's never been funny".
I've learned that far too many liberals have no tolerance for anyone with a difference of opinion and they'll never admit they are wrong about anything even when the facts are right there, because in their minds they are never ever ever wrong. The running joke in our family is that we don't even know why they went to school, after all they are so wise they knew everything there is to know in the world when they came out of the womb.
I've learned that the moderator keeps deleting out words like terrorist, hostage taker, and really bad words that through a court of law will get someone jailed, yet the liberals ignore that and keep posting the same words again, so I've learned that liberals have a hard time learning a lesson.
Learned that liberals hate the tea party with such venom when most of them have no idea what the tea party even stands for or what issues are important to the tea party people, but instead its much more funnier to call them a nasty name.
Learned that liberals don't think other people have the right to be represented unless they are liberal. They want a one party system, as long as it's only democrats, if it's republicans they are against a one party system.
Learned many liberals want conservatives to suffer. That they don't want us to have a voice on issues that affect our lives, and some even want them well won't say the word cos its horrible, but it would be no longer existing in life.
Learned the liberals already know who has won the next election that has not happened yet and that we don't even know who the candidate is, but they are so cocky they've already picked their winner.
Learned there is no tolerance in a liberals world unless you agree with them, like to call others names and get off on bullying and ridiculing.
The liberals. - The liberals

R/TP talking points. Is this like those imaginary villains that are all going to be out to get you so you feel the need to get a gun?
Libs won't listen - They want to know the truth
[ In Reply To ..]
You wrote a very thoughtful and accurate post. Unfortunately, the liberals are the ones who are filled with hate, so your words will fall on deaf ears. It feels like we're in a boxing ring, the liberals ganging up on the conservatives, beating us to a pulp. Then when we pick ourselves up to get back in the fight, they come at us again to knock us down so we can't get up again. I seriously think the liberals wish conservatives would just die. God is in our corner, though, even in the boxing ring.
Libs won't listen - I meant they "don't" want to know t

She never said God only approves of conservatives. She said God is in the corner of the people that others want to die. In this case that would be conservatives, but it goes for anyone.
The twisting of words is so blatantly obvious.

(Now I can expect all the uninformed posts from people who don't know me but are very eager to assume personal things about me, thus creating a profile of my entire life (created solely in their imaginations).
Let's see...maybe someone will say that I don't believe in God because I'm a liberal or some such nonsense: nothing involving the TRUTH of the matter, only whatever their imaginations can conjure up.
Are you talking about those imaginary villains again? - LOL
[ In Reply To ..]
This is why you've become so predictable. You always imaging things are going to happen to you.
Although I have to say keep em coming because it brings a bit of color to a someone depressing board.
Thanks for the smile. Needed it after today.
I think you should just take a minute or 60, (sm) - Libby
[ In Reply To ..]
however long it takes to sink in -- to reread my post.
Once again, I am NOT "always imaging (sic) things are going to happen to" me.
Your republicans came very close to creating a worldwide monetary crisis. That IS serious.
As far as "imaging" (sic) things are going to happen to" me, with all the stupid things done by certain politicians (particularly the TP), I'm not sure HOW nothing has happened yet.
After their stupidity this time, I'm worried what these loons are going to try in January.
But, once again, my life is far too happy for me to "always imaging (sic) things are going to happen to" me, so we have another poster (or the same one) who knows me so well she can just make up blanket fiction about me and claim it is the truth.
Serious question - Did you post this just to bait - cos it sure looks like it by
[ In Reply To ..]
The responses. Maybe this is what the poster who replied to you is talking about with liberal posters. I haven't read the liberals responses because its just a ridicule.
So, did you or didn't you want to know. Sure sounds like "bait" to me.

Learning To Speak Spanish - Any SuggestionsMay 08, 2011I would like to learn to speak Spanish and have been doing some research on Spanish programs on the internet but there are so many different ones and it's hard to know which is a good one. My grandmother was born in Puerto Rico and her 10 sisters/brothers spoke mostly Spanish when I was growing up. She taught me basic words and phrases, but of course that is 40+ years ago. Has anyone learned a language and is there a program/system they would recommend. ...
Learning About The 5 Dallas Officers Lost, Any ONE Of WhomJul 09, 2016I am THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED with the race-baiting hate-mongers on the left, who make hay (money, votes, influence) out of very isolated instances of police misconduct.
We have 800,000 or so sworn officers in this country. Figure conservatively that they have 4 significant citizen contacts per shift. That's 3,200,000 citizen contacts, of which only a very few have adverse implications.
America's police forces ARE NOT - and I repeat - ARE NOT RACIST. In fact, police dep ...
Wikileaks: Hillary Camp Demands Shorter Speech Time After Learning No Lectern Will Be AvailableOct 20, 2016
If Hillary is too weak to give a 2-minute speech without a lectern to lean on, she has no business trying to lead this country for 4 years. Being president requires strength and stamina, 2 things she apparently doesn’t have.
Electing Clinton as the next president would be downright dangerous. We shouldn’t be electing someone who might not be healthy enough to serve out her full term.

Question ..Feb 10, 2010I'm always facinated at some people who think all social problems and situations are so black and white.Abortion is here to stay, whether it's legal or not, just like it's always been an option when a woman finds herself facing the impossible situation of an unwanted pregnancy. Cat Question Aug 05, 2011Don't know if you remember my last posts awhile back about a stray cat we started feeding and took care, gave her shelter for the winter and she had kittens. QuestionMar 22, 2010Okay, here is a question that I have not seen come up here. While watching news today this just crossed my mind. If the government sets an insurance rate you have to pay based upon what you make per year, do they take into account all your other bills, and that sometimes as ICs we don't get any work coming in at times, and then what they set is more than what you can afford (i.e. more money than your paycheck and you still have to pay all your bills). As ICs I'm sure ...

E-Bay QuestionNov 19, 2013Hi everyone,
