Following articles on Clinton/Obama polling in July 2007, bout same time in election cycle and Clinton/Sanders. I believe Bernie will not be selfish either.

If Hillary is the nominee he will ask his supporters to vote for Hillary. Pretty sure he knows how important it is not to split the vote and he would not do that unless Hillary suddenly starting sounding like Lindsey Graham. She is supposedly a "hawk" on war, but really she sounds nothing like the conservatives on this issue. War is, after all, a moneymaking proposition for them, and like everything else in the Republican party, money comes first, for their rich patrons anyway, and they call the shots.

I welcome Bernie's contribution as the Democratic contender we all wish could get elected, but there are far too many potential voters who will never vote for him because Fox et al has likened "socialist" to the devil or something. Ridiculous.

Bernie knows, as do most intelligent Democrats, that if a Republican gets in the white house the Supreme Court will end up forever conservative and that means more terrible anti-women, anti-gay, pro-fundamentalist religion, anti-environment laws being passed, which this country just cannot afford.

The conservative effect on the Supreme Court and the country has been backward looking and extremely reactionary. This country is not about that and it needs to move forward, not backward.
