I guess governors can call special sessions until they get the results they want. I wonder, if the state of Texas closes down all the Planned Parenthood clinics like the Republicans want to do, how are many women supposed to get access to affordable birth control?

And never have I been without a job. It costs a quarter of the price through PP.

I wish people would stop getting of the way of easy access to birth control. It helps PREVENT abortion.

So who pays the other 3/4? Does the drug company - write off the cost or is it taxpayers (sm)

The government gives subsidies to farms, etc. I think sharing some of that to make birth control cheaper for women is fair. It keeps families out of poverty, prevents abortion and helps prevent overpopulation. It also provides counseling and resources for women who have been sexually and physically abused. I know some people don't want to taxes to fund PP, but I see it as a good thing for our society.

Gosnell was butchering people in his own clinic. I only wish those women had gone to PP instead. They might not have even become pregnant in the first place.

What are you talking about? I rarely post on this board. Plenty of right-wingers want to make abortion illegal (while at the same time making birth control harder to obtain and cutting food stamps and school lunches for the children who are already born). *Sigh* yourself.
