All of these people can claim they are insane. Seems to me, though, if you are able to decipher the difference between right and wrong, and you can understand you need to disguise yourself to go forward with your plot, then you are sane enough to suffer the consequences. And he knew just walking up to the door and acting like himself to get in was wrong, because more than likely she would not have let him in...so since he knew it was wrong, he went with a disguise. Either way, he was a great threat to society! I don't need him breaking out and finding my house to continue his evil work! No thanks!
Casey Anthony was considered sane. She offed her beautiful baby girl, and then went out to party like nothing happened. I know she was guilty, no one will ever convince me otherwise, but she got off on all charges. Now that disgusts me, but nothing I can do about it.
