Florida is allowing a 17-year-old girl to vote this election!

I thought is was bad when they changed the voting age to 18 because I don't think most 18-year-olds have a very good grasp of history and politics at that age, but on the Washington Journal this morning, a 17-year-old called in and stated she is registered to vote and will be voting in Nov.
What next? Where will it stop?

[ In Reply To ..]they apply for their driver's license, but are not placed on the rolls until their 18th birthdays. They do this in Florida, Louisiana, Hawaii and Oregon. If she thinks she's voting THIS November, she's obviously mistaken, unless she has a birthday between now and then.
