Palin contemplating running in 2012

Ugh is exactly right - see message - Evil republican

Okay - this is my reasoning.

SP is okay. She's smart when it comes to politics, but this is the thing... I think she would make a good cabinet member or have a place in the administration doing something, but not president. There are so many good republicans who would make fine presidents. I don't think she is qualified and she is the most hated woman in America. If the republican want any chance to win putting her in as a candidate they will surely lose. She goes to the tea party rallies and while there are hundreds of thousands (if not millions -combined, not at each) who attend the rallies that is not enough that would get her elected. I saw the video where she said she thinks she could beat Obama. Maybe she could because in reality probably anyone could at this time, but not her. I don't think there are enough people that would vote for her (including some republicans).

My true feeling is that everything is chosen ahead of time by a group of select people, lets just call "the elites". I'm sure Soros, Rockefeller, and all the other elitist in that group are surely not going to allow who they don't want in to be elected (again only my feeling from things I have read). Then whoever they choose to run is who we get to vote on.

I think if Obama runs again whoever runs against him is going to have an awfully hard time. If he doesn't win we will have race wars like you can't imagine. The only way I believe someone could win over him is if the republicans choose a black person to run. There are many people out there who voted solely for him because of his race (black panthers, and even some black people interviewed on Fox admitted they voted for him because it would be historic to have a black present - I think Juan Williams was one who admitted that proudly).

Anyway...while I think SP is okay - I don't hate her and I don't like her. I try not to listen to her because her voice grates on my nerves I hope they don't put her in as the candidate. There were already people who wanted her assassinated when she was running with McCain. They need to start pulling in the people who are really qualified and have good ideas. I think that's the only way the republicans will win. Not SP.

Ugh Palin - GOPmt

I couldn't agree more cept for one little thing..LOL. I think obama has been the worst thing in the world for "race relations" in years and has set the US back in equality of races. I don't care of a person is black/green/purple or white...but obama clearly does by his actions/speech.

I personally hope she doesn't run either.... - sam

not because I don't like her. I do like her. I think she is a likeable person, and sorry, I just don't find Obama likeable. I can't see him coming to my part of the country and being anywhere near comfortable. I believe she and I could sit at the kitchen table and have a visit. I personally don't think it is a bad thing for a President to be likeable. I would like to think he/she cares about me out here in flyover country. I think she really does. I think he really doesn't. And I know who I would want to have my back in a fight...it wouldn't be Barack.

Now that being said...is she qualified to be President? She is as qualified as Joe Biden in my book. MUCH more qualified than Nancy Pelosi. Ohhh my goodness MORE than Nancy, and she is in the line of succession. More so, probably, because she doesn't have her nose up the Republican party's hind parts and they don't pull her strings. Country is first with her. I think that is a plus.

IF she were to get the nomination, and I am not all sure that is even possible...I WOULD vote for her over Barack Obama, because I don't think this country can stand another 4 years of the far left. But, judging from the reaction to the shellacking that the Dems took at midterms, and the craziness that is out there like shooting televisions and sending white power to dancing with the stars, if she DID run I would suggest she start packing and wear Kevlar.

I figure all this speculation and stuff is to keep the negative attention on her. And that will accomplish reinforcing what all the people who at mid-terms said they were tired of this very thing will keep on seeing this very thing and hearing this very thing right up until 2012.

And yet, the liberals just can't stop themselves. lol.

OMG.....I thought I was the only one.... - tstone

[ In Reply To ..]
Bottom line.....if she runs, we will lose. I pray that she doesn't get the nomination. She doesn't have the smarts or the experience to be POTUS. Look at the sorry excuse for a President we have now. No experience at all, no business accumen, no domestic policy strengths, and no clue as to what real people are going through out here. He continues to take his trips, go golfing and live the high life. It's sickening. I can't take another four years of an imbecile in office.

She said she's thinking about it. - ....

[ In Reply To ..]
So, you think the liberals are the only ones keeping her in the news? Speculating?

It appears to me that 95% of Palin posts - are by TP or pubs. LOL

Those darn liberals--always bringing up Palin.

Up until now, yes. lol. - sam

[ In Reply To ..]
I would still take her over the present POTUS, any day. And if she is the nominee in 2012, which I doubt...I will vote against Obama by voting for her. Yep, THAT's how bad I want him gone. :)

I find it interesting that the liberals automatically - Evil Republican

[ In Reply To ..]
assume that if you are a conservative you automatically want her to be POTUS.

But I guess by continuing to focus all their negative energy and hatred on her and keeping her in the spotlight they believe it will take people's minds off how bad the democrats are doing, and how the party is tearing itself to shreds.

I'm with you on that one. SP is likeable, but - Backwards Typist

[ In Reply To ..]
she really doesn't know how to run a whole country. She is concentrated on the U.S. only. I don't remember hearing anything on how she would take care of the world problems unless the news blocked those items about her.

I don't think I would vote for her. She would have to prove she can handle the crap other countries give us every day for me to give her the vote.

BTW, watch Senator John Thune, SD. He will give his answer on if he's going to run for President next year. So far, I like what I hear about him.

Thanks for the heads up! - sam

[ In Reply To ..]
Like I said...the only way I would vote for her is if it were between she and Obama. One thing I know for sure...she is NOT a socialist so I cannot see her continuing to drive the US down that road. I will cross that bridge when I see who is running. But rather than not voting, which would be essentially voting for him...cannot in good conscience do that. Better the devil you don't know than the one you do in this case.

SP - vtmt50

She has more actual executive experience than the elitist community organizer in office now. She has been and continues to be ridiculed (with juvenile attacks worthy of a grade-school playground) by the biased media more concerned with style than substance.
Here here....that is very true - anon
