I saw on TV not too long ago that southern states in the USA have the WORST health records after the age of 65 and they die much younger than the remainder of citizens from other states (although states like Wisconsin have idiots like Paul Ryan, who is definitely con Americans unless they're rich Americans).

I must say, that's not a surprise to me, given the lack of concern for older people (as well as that famous 47% Romney referred to) and not including states like Wisconsin with people like Paul Ryan representing his constituency.

But I agree with you: I wish they would secede, too.

The cause of Wendy Davis did not happen in a vacuum. There are plenty more where she came from. We even have considerable throngs of male counterparts who support progressive causes.

The solution could be more of an East versus West Texas divide, rather than North versus South. It's easy enough to identify the Golden Triangle urban areas, which actually include the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston-Galveston and San Antonio-Austin Metroplex populations. Just cut the place in half and let the secessionists migrate to West Texas and blue West Texans migrate east. Heck, we could even throw Fort Worth out and let the other side have it. It's never been anything more than an overgrown aging cowtown.

I would be the first one on the east side to lobby for another 700-mile (panhandle head-to-tail distance) 25-foot border fence manned with an additional 25-30,000 agents spaced apart every 2 miles or so to keep them yellow-bellied, sap-sucking, side-winding Con-Feds out. Subdivision sure would take care of the red vs blue gerrymander mighty quick. I'd just love to see the reds have to deal with population and economic realities sans the advantage of dealing from a stacked deck rigged to favor the best cheaters in the house.
