A divergent and at times highly unexpected variety of organizations, businesses, and people who have called foul on this thing, some put their money where there mouth is with cancelled expansions or concerts, and it is a delight to see:

And now in Arkansas they have passed a similar idiotic bill, and even freaking Walmart is against it!

Not often do you see such a wide range of entities all out disgusted. I find it extremely heartening, and this is what I believe American politics is truly about, people who have the courage to unite for what's right and what's fair, no matter whether you are left or right.

I think you only want one kind of research, the kind that agrees with you.

I am so glad all these great companies and individuals are not deluded by that "research" but instead have just responded to what is clearly the intent of this heinous law.

Governor Pence obviously failed in his quest to "clarify" the law.

Gotta love the rebuttals lately that don't provide a shread of evidence to the contrary - "wrong" and "do your research"

I've seen so many rebuttals like that lately, it makes no sense. I understand if people just disagree or just want to believe differently and don't feel they need to explain why, but I guess what I don't understand are comments demanding others to "do their research" and are "wrong" without providing any evidence themselves to the contrary. I mean it's like kids going "nuh uh", it's just pointless. Even more odd is when you try to tell someone "there is no proof that person ever said that", then they come back and ask you to prove it. How can anyone provide proof of something that wasn't said or never happened? I understand that in cases where the source is unreliable, but otherwise there is no proof for what doesn't exist. So the burden of proof is then on the person who is says it did to provide evidence. So I can only assume such "nuh uh" responses are just efforts to irritate the people that disagree with them rather than contribute in any meaningful way to the conversation.

My daugher who is an RN as a pediatric oncology nurse at Hurley Meidical Center in Michigan got the WONDERFUL news, that they got the most votes for a "gameroom giveaway" so the peds oncology patients now have a donated room FULL of cames X-box and so on -- on top of this, one of the docs donated $10K for the kids!!!
