[ In Reply To ..]I was confident when I raised my kids that if I taught them right from wrong and a basic set of morals, let them learn from their mistakes, and not shame or demean them emotionally, that they would be equipped to enter the real world whether it be in college or an occupation, then support their choice of paths and encourage them to follow their ambitions.
We have to trust ourselves as parents that we did the best we could to prepare out children for adulthood.
And then we can trust our children to use what we taught them as a foundation enter the real world as adults.

I signed both of my boys up today for classes at the community college. Thank goodness I have a Pell grant for both of them that pays most of their tuition because books for 6 classes cost $800!!!!!
