in the workplace..."
Hmmm! What's the IF, and who's this YOU who's HAVING anything? This is his entire discussion of the equal pay for equal work issue:
"I recognize that if you’re going to have women in the workforce that sometimes they need to be more flexible. My chief of staff, for instance, had two kids that were still in school. She said, I can’t be here until 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. at night; I need to be able to get home at 5:00 p.m. so I can be there for making dinner for my kids and being with them when they get home from school. So we said, fine, let’s have a flexible schedule so you can have hours that work for you."
Sounds like the same-old/same-old excuse to me--women can't work normal hours and full shifts so we can't expect equal pay. If he had more time, maybe he would have gotten to the one where women of course get laid off first because men need their jobs more. (Oh, the good old days!)
What IS his definition of a woman anyway? Are singles without husbands and children on his list, or are they..fringe people, outliers of society? Can a person who hires a babysitter or housekeeper--or just has her husband help--so she can show up at work on time be considered a normal women?
For an entertaining and thoughtful discussion of Romney and working women: "Mitt's Binders of the Missing Women." (They apparently were clothed, BTW.)

;are paid 18% less than WH men. Seems like your "Leader" isn't REALLY for women after all.
Thank you.
