Everywhere I'm reading I see Romney taking the lead over Obama. Now I read this article thought was interesting. Romney is leading with women.

It's going to be an interesting race - get ready for a ride. :-)

Since April, women have gone from strongly backing Obama to endorsing Romney. In April, Obama held a 49 percent to 43 percent lead among women. That has now flipped to 46 percent backing Romney with 44 percent for Obama, an 8-point switch.

Seriously, if you do not read the news except with the liberal slant you will never get a balance. Read liberal, but also read conservative. Read things you don't normally or like to read (DH keeps telling me that). If you stick to the one side you like you'll never get even coverage.

While I agree with him on many things there are a few things I dont.

I dont agree with privatizing everything. People cannot be trusted to maintain honesty and integrity; ie privatizing prisons-see PA juvenile judges who took kickbacks for throwing kids in jail. Privatizing schools I feel will be unfair to kids born into poor areas as I feel funding would be uneven.

a lefty, but I do agree with him on certain issues. You brought up some pretty good things to be concerned about though. If he ever made it to the WH, I would hope some of his more drastic ideas would be tempered by congress, public opinion, and the supreme court.

Actually I believe there are women out there worrying about birth control and gay marriage (although not sitting home thinking about it ALL day). Birth control IS an economic issue.

Married women use birth control when they still want to be intimate with their husbands but cannot afford anymore children. If they do not have insurance (even if they do there was a co-pay until now) that has to budgeted in somehow. People have already cut the fat, so what do you cut for that?

Many women have gay children. They worry how their lives will turn out when they are told they are less of a citizen than a hetero person. Gay adult women who do not have insurance but have a partner who does cannot do what heteros do and choose a family plan together and be covered under their partners. They cant, so they must somehow come up with A LOT of money for that.

So Aunt Sue while they may just be a "distraction" for you, I promise you there are MILLIONS of women out there who these things are a DAILY issue for and whose vote it WILL influence.

Also, please tell me how I can get this check for women cradle to grave. I have never heard of that.

Slide 1-Julia goes to Head Start...why that just screams lazy, liberal dimwitted air-headed free-cheeser.

Slide 2-Julia takes her SATs to prepare her for college. Stupid little government leech.

Slide 3-Julia's parents get a tax credit for $2500/year for 4 years to help pay for tuition that $35,000 (a full year's wages for most folks)...she obviously learned to suck the government teat from her no-good parents.

Slide 4-During college Julia has to have surgery. She was able to stay on her parents insurance (which her parents PAY a premium for) so she didnt get saddled with another $30,000 paying out of pocket to add to her $35,000/year college debt.

Slide 5-Because of the Lily Ledbetter Act when Julia gets a job as a web designer she gets the same pay that a male co-worker with the same exact job description and same exact responsibilities with the same exact amount of education/experience instead of 77 cents to his 1 dollar.

Slide 6-Julia pays back her student loans with low interest rates, how irresponsible can this one chick be!?

Slide 7-At 27 Julia is not ready for children so she remains on birth control pills that is paid for with the premium she PAYS FOR and gets yearly checkups to help her stay healthy and catch anything that could be more expensive down the road early, like the amoral loose hussy that she is!!

Slide 8-At age 31 she is ready for a child. She has affordable healthcare that she PAYS FOR with her premium, so she gets excellent prenatal care for her baby plus make sure there are no complications and if there are they are dealt with. This freeloading wench is REALLY getting on my nerves now.

Slide 9-Her baby (a boy named Zachary) is ready for Kindergarten!! Because of high education standards he is already off in the right direction!! Spoiled little entitled brat is starting young, sure his mom pays school taxes but that doesnt matter...he cant seem to function without that government propping him up can he?

Slide 10-Julia is ready to start her own business!! She gets a small business LOAN (loan/lōn/ Noun: A thing that is borrowed, esp. a sum of money that is expected to be PAID BACK WITH INTEREST. She also takes advantages of tax breaks offered so she can hire employees, thus helping out her local economy. Who does she think she is getting tax breaks...only the billion dollar corporations like Exxon and General Electric DESERVE tax breaks...not some government-dependent since birth brain-dead bimbo!!

Slide 11-Julia turns 65-she enrolls in Medicare (which she has PAID into all her life) which thank goodness has not yet been turned into a voucher system where if you run out of money...too bad for her...but of course Julia feels she is entitled like all the rest of the liberal lazy scum that are bringing down this country.

Slide 12-She is 67 and is now eligible to retire and receive Social Security (again which she has PAID into her entire life)...wow you would think by age 67 she would've learned how to pull her own weight by now and stop leaching off hard-working REAL Americans! Hopefully she dies early so she can finally stop being a burden!!

Really well I am insulted that someone tried to take me for a fool with some fairy tale about cradle to grave freebie life of luxury trampy single mother. It was about a girl who went to college, got a good job, had a baby and started a business. She was not some brainless bimbo, she was an intelligent educated woman. Not even close to a video, So the poster who told me about it obviously was just regurgitating what they heard without even watching it. That is the sad state of this country.
