Swing States poll: Women push Romney into lead

Posted: Oct 15, 2012

Gratifying to knowthat Romney's support among women voters is rising. We women show that we are very in tune with the issues of the day and are making informed decisions. http://m.usatoday.com/article/news/1634791;

I suppose if you are want Roe v Wade to be - overturned and you SM

want a personhood bill for a fetus, disallowing many forms of birth control, and don't want infertile people to be able to pursue in vitro fertilization, then I guess you're right. If you want to put women back in the 1950s, then yeah, guess so.

You would be amazed - -

to find out that Romney is not what the MSM and the WH portray him to be. You've been lied to.

Keep - believing that, nm

Obama's still ahead with women, but - Romney leads with men. NM

There's a lot more than abortion rights in play. Romney would allow - MTSOs to pay male MTs more than female. ETC. SM

It's important to remember where these candidates are coming from and what their core beliefs are.

Mormons are significantly more conservative than the general population on all issues (google it; it has been studied) and FAR more on issues of women's rights.

Our modern ways are in strong contradiction to the dictates of the Book of Mormon. Those of our rights coded in law to protect us also strongly conflict with businesses' desires to maximize profits and minimize costs.

That may be so.... - but

[ In Reply To ..]
I'd rather deal with a Mormon's views than one who will lead us to Socialism. The Mormon view is the lesser of the two evils.

At least the men and women would HAVE jobs!

Well, lower wages do result in employers hiring - more women instead of men. NM

They say it had a lot to do with Biden's performance - (sm) - Texan

and I do mean performance. I'm not sure why it would. As I watched it, I felt like slapping him, he just annoyed me he was acting so stupid. I didn't realize it was because I was a woman. As far as RvW being overturned, I seriously doubt that will happen. Most women are smart enough to realize that.

At Least Six Swing States Face Double Digit Premium HikesAug 17, 2016
Double-digit Obamacare premium hikes projected in 2017 may bode in Donald Trump’s favor, as several swing states are being impacted by double-digit increases under the law and consumers are expected to see the hikes around Nov. 1 — one week before heading to the polls. Trump has promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, but Hillary Clinton has vowed to make the Obamacare exchanges work. Some say the way she would do that is through raising taxes. “Any reports of premium increases will ...

Poll: Americans Say We'd Be Better Off If Mitt Romney Won In 2012Jul 03, 2014
While Obama beat Romney by 4 percentage points, voters say a do-over in the 2012 election wouldn't be a bad thing. "Would Mitt (Romney) have been a better fit? More voters in hindsight say yes," Malloy said. Overall, 45 percent of voters say America would be better off if the White House went to the Republicans in 2012, compared to 38 percent who said we'd be worse off. And because it's World UFO Day, a 2012 survey indicated 65 percent of Americans think Barack Obama would be b ...

Conservatives Make Their Voices Heard After Poll Shows Romney SupportAug 23, 2012
Among African-Americans at Zero Percent. by Jason Howerton. "A new poll conducted by NBC and the Wall Street Journal shows that support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney among black people stands at an incredible zero percent. Nada. Zilch. Zero. But in order for the poll to be accurate, one would have to assume that there are indeed “zero” African-Americans that stand with Mitt Romney. And while the folks at NBC or WSJ certainly aren’t obligated to justify their find ...

Romney's Religion Prejudice Against Women, Gays, African Americans (sm)Oct 31, 2012
Women and African Americans are not allowed to hold high positions within the Mormon church. How many of you are women? How can you support a candidate who does not believe in equal rights except when he is in front of the camera, and will give no details or explain supporting the church prejudices? His church believed it was OK to rape 12 year-old girls and force them into polygamous marriages. Their believes come from prophets to talk to God. Do you really think God condoned this?? Do ...

Ohio Gender Gap Poll Likely Explains Romney's Abortion Flip-flip.Oct 11, 2012
Plus a Bloomberg poll said women were moving toward Romney on economic issues but holding back on social issues, especially abortion, confirmed by other pols. So Romney stated in front of cameras that he has no abortion legislation in mind.  Which his campaign staff then routinely denied (following what is now a well-established pattern). Ryan also then said their position on abortion has not changed. Romney's previous positions have been that he is absolutely against abortion. That ...

CNN Poll Shamefully Skewed. De-skew The Poll And It'sSep 11, 2012
The campaign to mislead the public, discourage conservative voters, etc. is underway, full bore. Do NOT believe ANY polls.  Think for yourself - and VOTE, regardless of any polls that might suggest that Obama has this sewn up.  The DNC had a disastrous convention and they're also trying to make that look like the best thing since conventions began. Older Women Versus Younger Women And Trump/ClintonOct 10, 2016
Women who "like" Trump are invariably older and don't like Hilary Clinton because they were raised in an era of economic competition with each for men. In the old days, men generally took care of their women, and some women lucked out with good men and some stuck it out with bad ones. Young women can take care of themselves economically so aren't as threatened by other women so they're more apt to go for HIllary. Older women also don't like Clinton because she stuck with her ...

Families USA says the ACA was a good start, but it has now outlined 19 specific proposals "to improve health care for everyone in our nation."
