you will find this statement: "The four-week average reduces seasonal volatility in the weekly data and is seen as a more accurate barometer of labor-market trends. Not clear what your "4 years now" addition has to do with anything, since it is not found in the market report, but it's comical your temporal cut-off implies you think there were no hemorrhagic jobs losses in the months before Obama was sworn in.
I understand Romney's decision to go rogue with his VP pick, thus downplaying his original intent to campaign on the economy and pick up the "choice" brand, was based on a special kind of GOP disappointment in the economy's failure to tank badly enough. Evidently the Obama-sucks-give-me-a-try wave was a wipeout. The "choice" choice isn't working out so well for him. Wonder what he has up his sleeve for an RNC switch to an umptheeth campaign theme? So far we've lurched from MA governor, to Bain Capitol business acumen, to Olympics Superhero, to economy fixer-upper, a brief stint as champion of the middle class, MC/SS savior, and abortion flip-flopper.
Not to worry. I'm sure he'll eventually find that perfect fit while going through his closet of campaign theme dress-up changes.
