Recognize this for what it is... - a lie and a pitch based on the lie.
[ In Reply To ..]First, they're trying to damp down the anger of the voters that's coming in November by lowering expectations. Never mind that these expectations were based on statements they made LAST time.
Second, they're implying that the stimulus created jobs in the first place, which is a bald-faced, demonstrable lie. The few jobs created have cost about $300,000 apiece.
Third, based on that lie, they're probably going to ask for more stimulus.
No one in Washington puts out a statement that doesn't have an agenda behind it. Always look for the agenda and then you'll understand the statement better.
