Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has what he says is an informed explanation for why Mitt Romney refuses to release additional tax returns. According a Bain investor, Reid charged, Romney didn't pay any taxes for 10 years.

Does the constitution state a president must be a native-born US citizen? Yes it does.

According to dictionary.com, desperate means "leaving little or no hope; very serious or dangerous; extremely bad; intolerable or shocking."

Mr. Romney's failure to disclose his tax returns would indeed qualify as a desperate measure. Personally, I find it both intolerable AND shocking - and it would appear the Romney campaign finds it VERY serious and dangerous.

As for your criticism of the OP's sources, I would wonder if the sources of your choice would even run the story.

If Mr. Romney wants to demonstrate accountability, he can go ahead and do so. In the absence of same, he remains, simply, unaccountable - and desperate.

I don't doubt that this is true. Of course, we do not know if the guy who told this to Harry was telling the truth, which Harry acknowleges. Also, Mitch McConnell is surprisingly honest and candid too. Remember the "make Obama a one-term president." Most would not have owned up to that remark a few years ago.

I really had no opinion one way or another. But for whatever reason, I read the details of the investigation and, as a former investigator myself, I found myself becoming more and more horrified that these issues had never been properly vetted.

I would only suggest that every citizen examine the nature of the most unusual problems that have been clearly demonstrated with Obama's documentation, beginning at birth and onward. And then I would ask you this one question: If you were in a position that you literally had to bet the life of a child or another loved one on the legitimacy of Obama's documentation, how would YOU bet?

I'm telling you now that I know the answer - assuming, of course, that you bother to check into the issues as I've suggested.
