Here is my feeling...

Posted: Aug 31, 2012

Look at all the people who have been "mentors" in Ovomits life. A fanatic religious man, a communist who influenced him as a mentor at age 9 on - my feeling is that this man has been raised, schooled and groomed throughout his lifetime by people who wanted him in charge to destroy this country so the U.S. is no longer a force to be reckoned with. He care nothing for the legal citizens in this country (probably not being one himself), ignores the will of the American people to push is own agenda and is totally out of control in breaking the laws of our constitution - because he has another agenda. If he gets another 4 years, you mark my words, the USA as you have known it will no longer exist. The government will be in your bank accounts, and we will become a socialist/communist country totally. If he gets re-elected, I myself am going to look into moving to Canada, as it's very close by. Remember how to vote on November 6th. In my eyes, the unknown is a much better deal than what will happen if Ovomit is reelected. Sorry for the long rant. But see 2016, get the book "The Amateur," "The Communist" and wonder why anyone considers this man likeable. I find him totally arrogant and self-serving, and hope he is removed from office by a landslide. ;

president of the United States like that, but if you insult Clint Eastwood its considered an "insult" and gets edited....amazing.

(seriously? did an Eastwood "insult" get edited?) - inquiring mind wants to know

I didn't know if you were joking or if the moderators actually intervened on a Clint insult. I just have to know!
Yes it did..... - JTBB

I made a comment in a thread below when it was discovered that the mystery speaker was Clint. The comment was basically to point out that younger folks wouldn't even know who he was and point out how the pub party fails to connect to them. In the process I referred to Clint's age and compared him to a cartoon character who represents old and tired (skeletor). The post was originally deleted with on the basis that 1) it had nothing to do with politics, and 2) it was an insult. After explaining the meaning of the post to the moderator, it was re-posted but edited to the point where there was absolutely no meaning.

This stuff is just beyond the pale anymore! I wish I could say I can't believe they edited you for that, but, well...you know. It's always about who reports the message - and how they do it. The moderators are impressionable and far too susceptible to rhetoric.

It's unfortunate that they think "moderation kept at a minimum" means a post will be deleted if "someone" finds it offensive. Unfortunately, the moderators refuse to stick with policies and prefer to traffic in favoritism.

Thanks for your response. I am going to go out and get some sunshine now! peace.
I reported you! - JBrewer

What you posted was wrong and insulting. It's bad enough to think it, worse to write it down for others to see. It shows no compassion or humanity. But guess you didn't like that it was deleted so had to write once more what you called him in the post that was deleted. I would say the way people feel when Clint Eastwood is insulted is the same way people feel with Michelle Obama is insulted.

Me too. - No more. Nada. NM

I think you've hit a new low for name-calling. It's not funny or clever--it's pathetic.

Move to - Canada

[ In Reply To ..]
from what country? It certainly cannot be the US because If you live in the United States you wouuld know that our rights have slowly been taken away by both parties for years and years. Why is it that pubs think that their candidates are any different than the dems. It's actually getting funny reading how the pubs think their candidates don't put laws and policies in place that take away our rights. Wake up!!!

Here is my feeling....Quitting at "Ovomits" has - Unanimous support. nm

You may want to rethink that moving to Canada thing since they have that universal health care that you must certainly think is socialistic.

Not to mention gay marriage and - legalized weed.

I imagine you would have to have something they wanted (like half a brain) before Canada would let you move there.

it's probably all that weed that makes them gay - nm

You democrats must really love Obama to defend him so - he hasn't done anything as president of the United States except give amnesty to 1-2 million illegal aliens. You keep paying for all that and keep your rose-colored glasses on, and wait and see what kind of country your grandchildren, etc will grow up in.

You mean one where angry old white men - have become an endangered species and

have been replaced by a beautiful rainbow of cultural diversity, united under one flag and devoted to a common cause? That's what my son hopes to see for his children.

you're worried about our grandchildren? - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
No need to worry. Our grandkids will be living in buildings to keep them out of the sun, the heat, the unremitting ozone. Fortunately, they will have plenty of Gatorade, as water will be useless for human consumption - and far too expensive. You won't have to worry about the grandkids playing outside with the pesky birds and bees, for they will be long gone - and good riddance, I say! What's a kid going to do with a bird? Or fresh air? Or some stupid bee that pollinates fruits. You remember fruits, right?

never in my life have i ever read so much total - spew and cat-yak as in the "Ovomit" post

No wonder America is circling the drain.

That's ok people - me

I won't even say I told ya so when all this hits the fan. Keep those blinders on. To spew and cat-yak - America is already halfway down the toilet as we knew it. All that is needed is the final flush.

Feeling Sorry For MyselfDec 07, 2011
So, it's been a really rough 6 months for my family (such as it is). We have lost an uncle, best friend, another friend, father, a dog (16 years old), a cat (15 years old) and a bird (28 years old).  Never mind all the "fun" of being an MT.  After sitting in this grief/pity party for ourselves, my DH and I decided that celebrating Christmas was just too much to bear. After much thought, I decided to check out this website I found and now instead of sitting around feeling out of so ...

I'm Feeling DownApr 03, 2010
Do ya ever just get down in the dumps and don't know why.  Things just hit/get to me at times and lately been feeling more stressed.  Feel like I'm going to be working til I keel over in my chair from old age.  Never enough money, only one in the family working (economic reasons), no kids, no family, no relatives, no friends.  I don't go to church and don't want to go to church.  My hair is thinning, and my face is breaking out like I'm going thr ...

Feeling Sad About ThisDec 11, 2014
I know a lot of people, myself included, who at various times in our lives have made the comment they wish Christmas was over.  I am sad to say this year is the first year I have no "Christmas feeling" whatsoever, and I don't want to acknowledge it at all.  I am struggling both financially and emotionally picking up a few gifts for just a handful of people, just because I know they are buying for me.  I have been through the worst 18 months of my life, and it has taken a trem ...

Feeling About As Low As I Can BeNov 18, 2016
Had 2nd interview yesterday for a part-time job.  Felt confident after 1st interview.  Was tolld after 2nd that they would call me Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.  Here iit is early Friday afternoon and NO CALL.  I was willing to work overnight hours too.  My age works against me.  They all want the young ones.  I am getting desparate and not afraid ot do any type of job.  Behind on all my bills.  Looking for a silver lining.  Been praying ...

Are You Feeling The Gas Pinch?Apr 20, 2011
I average only 14 gallons of gas per month.  At $3.70 a gallon, that is over $51 a month.  I walk my child to school.  I combine trips.  It isn't unusual for my car not to move only one day a week, and I still find it hard to accept the cost of adding gas to my car.  Forget about being in a relationship - it's too expensive!  My cost to telecommute to work is less than $40 a month for my internet service although costs for electricity are probably higher t ...

Feeling NostalgicAug 12, 2013
Every once in awhile I go on Ebay and just search for "medical transcription" items.  I've found good buys in the past on various items (electronic spellcheckers, foot pedals, headphones, etc). For some reason, when I ran the search today and was looking through the items, I started feeling all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic for the "good old days."  The days about 20 years ago when I was first learning medical transcription (in-house and on the job), and everything was exciting an ...

Feeling Horribly AnxiousSep 09, 2010
I just need to connect with someone right now.  I am alone, and in about 45 minutes I am going up to my stepfather's to help him get our parrot out of her very big cage into the little cage we use when she has to leave the house.  She fights it every time, hangs onto the bars and screams.   We must take her today to have her nails trimmed.  They are very long and I am afraid she will get caught on the bars when she climbs and plays.  It is long overdue.  M ...

Disappointed, But Feeling Silly About ItNov 16, 2012
Okay, this is going to sound REALLY stupid and childish and I hope after a long week you  get a laugh from this.  I can't tell my dear sweet hubbie because he meant good, but I have to tell someone.  He did the grocery shopping today.  He comes home and I see a container of mint ice cream (I gag thinking of it, but its his favorite), so I'm so excited he bought ice cream.  Been in the mood for a bowl of ice cream.  I keep emptying the bags putting food awa ...

Been looking on line and then called pharmacist just to back up quitting the Metformin cold turkey. Told the pharmacist went on 500, now up to 1500 and gained 6 lbs in 5 weeks. She told me, yes you can gain that much in a week. I feel like a dunce now- first the NP telling me I could not lose 50 lbs overnight and now the pharmacist telling me I could gain that much in a week. I am going to have to go back to school because the statements being made today are just so much over my head (NOT). I ha ...

For Cat Lovers, Feeling GuiltyJun 04, 2013
I just found out my 2nd cat in 10 years likely has a cryptococcal fungal infection.  The 1st one I did the whole treatment, surgery, biopsy, blood titers, fluconazole (150 bucks a month for a year), cost me over $2000.  She got better, but about 6 months later, it came back and I could not afford to treat her anymore.  I put all that cost on my credit cards. Well fast forward, I now have another cat with the same thing.  Saw the vet (different one) and he wants to do a biops ...

Feeling Guilty About Sick HusbandFeb 28, 2011
My husband had terrible lower back pain and went to the doctor last week and was told he most likely had sciatica. He was given a prescription for hydrocodone/APAP and told he could also use ibuprofen and to try resting and using ice for relief. It has been over a week and my husband is still in pain. I know sciatica can be terrible, but the thing iis that my husband is making no effort to try to get better, at least that's how it seems to me. When I ask him if the hydrocodone is ...

Feeling All Warm, Fuzzy, And Tingly Apr 06, 2011
The fact that Kloppenburg was UNKNOWN two months ago and has all but beaten a 14 year incumbent, goes to show how far out of touch the Republican T-Party is with the working people of Wisconsin.  Only five other Supreme Count incumbents have been ousted by a challenger in the history of Wisconsin. It will almost certainly go to recount, but Scott Walker has been put on notice that he will be recalled.  Good going Wisconsin! ...
