From your link: "President George W. Bush tapped out the lowest at 37.3 percent"
Holy skull and bones, Batman, if you're crowing about Obama's ratings, then your boy W really sucked it!
Linked below is a poll that will probably scare you - 50% approval rating, and *rising*. In fact, this poll indicates that Obama generally is seen more favorably than the Republican congress, sometimes by significant margin.
Bush is old news, dear. - No takeaway.

Today's poll can't get any more current. We know you don't like the truth, but it is what it is. LOL
Comparing 1st and 2nd term approval ratings of current and past presidents - is common practice

We know the pubs would love to make W and his record disappear but, as you say, it is what it is. If the party wants voters to forget Bush, maybe they should stop running the heir apparents for POTUS.
Evidently they had to reach back a whole year to get a number - to support their narrative

since rising realtime approval ratings are accelerating ever since the president decided to "go on the offensive" with policies the public agrees with. That "taking the country in the right direction" hike after the SOTU is pretty impressive, isn't it?
