Most would argue that a long-term sustained voter disdain by far eclipses a transient "nosedive" (Obama's ratings typically range between 40 and 70) any day of the week, especially when Congress has to scratch its way up from SINGLE DIGIT readings into the low teens! From the brief research I did this morning, I found that Congress has not seen an approval rating as high as 24% since at least October 2009, making Obama's nadir rating of 26% something they can only dream about.
Kinda makes all that crowing we hear coming out of right field ring rather hollow, dontcha think?

I just took a look at Real Clear Politics and noticed that President Obama's job approval rating is overall +3.4 and Gallup has it at +11 for the past couple of days, and more people polled have approved of his job performance than have not for quite some time.
