Didn't know about Sarah Palin "Birther" story

Posted: Apr 18, 2011

Sarah Palin's pregnancy a hoax? This is the first I've heard this.

;

Cue the confetti! Sound the music! You - get the bottom feeder

[ In Reply To ..]
of the day award for totally tasteless attack post.

Wasn't an attack post. I really didn't know - there was an issue.

[ In Reply To ..]
Did you hear about this before? This is the first time I'm reading about it.

It as big news during the Presidential - election. The left

[ In Reply To ..]
made as much hay with it as they could, but it was debunked very quickly. Adding the "birther" tag to it and reviving it is bottom feeding.

What possible difference would it make about Trig's birth? Unless Trig Palin was running for President of course. Which he wasn't. Even Obama said during the campaign that candidates' families should be off limits. Didn't stop the left from their path of personal destruction where the Palins were concerned, but at least he tried. That is one thing he said that I can say I agreed with. Families should be OFF limits.
I don't remember hearing any of this then. - I remember O saying
[ In Reply To ..]
families were "off limts" but with regard to Bristol and pregnancy. The "birther" tag was meant to imply another "story" about lying about birth. I actually don't put anything past any of them.

Wow! If that is true--a new low for Palin and T-party - I suspected that Palin

[ In Reply To ..]
looked way too good for just having a baby? She is immune to pregnancy weight gain? Bristol certainly was more "chubby" and is seemed she wore tops and dresses that covered the tummy section more. It does make you wonder.

Only people like you. Who attack the - parentage of a Down's

[ In Reply To ..]
child. Who, last time I looked, was not running for everything. You get to share the bottom feeder of the day award for tasteless hit post.

No, I think if there is such a thing - you just won - nm

[ In Reply To ..]
Go ahead and go for the baby's throat, friend. - and have the nerve to
[ In Reply To ..]
rag on someone else. You are a piece of work for sure. New low for the left...just when I thought you had hit the bottom of the barrel, you knocked the bottom out and went further down.

I'd say shame on you, but you would actually have to have a conscience to understand the concept.
no one is going for the baby's throat - easy, cheesy shot
[ In Reply To ..]
Honestly, that's really ridiculous. Evidently you cannot follow the topic and, like so many of your ilk, pull the baby card out of your hat.

The only person not honoring that child is the one who got on a plane after her water broke to fly to a hospital hours away that lacked advanced neonatal care in order to give birth to a premature infant.

Would you do that? I mean, really. Talk about going for a baby's throat. Wise up.
Excuse me oh condescending one....I know - the air is thin up there on
[ In Reply To ..]
that high horse, but pay attention...the first link was "birther" story. That is inference to Obama and whether or not he was born here. He is President...the constitution says he should be a citizen. HE is the subject of the "birther" controversy.

Trig Palin has never run for an office, doubtful he ever will, and he is not President of the United States. The circumstances of his birth, WHATEVER they are, should not be fodder for your nasty political attacks.

You DID go for the baby's throat, that is odious, but after listening to the liberal/Democrat/socialists on those videos one can see that you see absolutely nothing wrong with attacking a child because you don't like his mother.

You are pathetic, and you should wise up and try to dig real deep and see if you have even a smidge of common decency left.

And you wonder why we don't want this attitude and mentality running our country.
you again... - all over the map
[ In Reply To ..]
This isn't about Obama.

This isn't about the child, Trig.

I didn't go for the baby's throat. You were responding to someone else. Not my post.

Try to remember that you don't know who is speaking when you read messages on a board.
Thank you for the lesson, of condescending - one...the original post
[ In Reply To ..]
was questioning Trig Palin's parentage and comparing it to "birthers." When Trig Palin runs for President, that MIGHT be acceptable. Until then it is bottom feeding.

You might want to read the entire thread before jumping on the bashwagon. It was about the child Trig and the comparison WAS to Obama.

It is just as bad to jump on the bashwagon of the one who went for Trig's throat and defend it.

The post about whether or not Palin should have gotten on a plane or not was a nonsensical deflection, but not surprising as it is the staple of your side when you have nothing else.

But feel free...condescend all you want. Just don't whine when you get it handed back to you.

make some sense - can you hear yourself?

[ In Reply To ..]
What on earth does the child's Down's status have to do with anything?

So you yourself are saying there is a distinction between a child with Down syndrome and - what - a "normal" child?

Aren't you special!
Of course there is a difference. - Isn't it normally the "progressives" who say that
[ In Reply To ..]
want to protect the most vulnerable in our society. Doesn't a child with Down syndrome qualify as pretty vulnerable?
of course... - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
of course a child with Down syndrome is vulnerable. Hopefully, this is understood by all regardless of political leaning.

What I don't understand from the post above is this: Why, when discussing the child's parents, does it make a difference if the child has Down syndrome or not?

Does having a child with Down syndrome mean their parents don't have to be accountable? Does it somehow make the parents more honest?

If a child has Down's, we shouldn't talk about their parents?

Kinda sounds like using the child as a tool, doesn't it?
Your side used the child as a tool against - his mother. Does not
[ In Reply To ..]
get any lower than that...oh wait, DEFENDING the use of the child because you don't like his mother...LOWER.
you don't know me or my side - nm
[ In Reply To ..]
Fine. Whatever side you are on, using - a child as a political tool
[ In Reply To ..]
is WRONG. I realize it won't stop you, but that does not make it less WRONG.
using kids - icedT
[ In Reply To ..]
It kind of reminds me of the people who talk about my "adopted daughter" and then my "real" kids. It's obvious that my daughter is not my biological child.

Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread, but it really gets my knickers in a knot. They are ALL my kids!
The fact that you would attack ANY child - because you don't
[ In Reply To ..]
like his mother tells me all I need to know about you and other liberals of your...let me use one of your side's words....ilk.
listen sister - cut it out
[ In Reply To ..]
I am not attacking ANY child.

These weakminded, baby-based assaults are really freaky.
Read the start of the thread and what the - subject was.
[ In Reply To ..]
is this where the name calling starts?

Besides the nonsense post - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
Don't pregnant women usually know in advance if they are having a high risk pregnancy such as a Down's syndrome child-- and a normal person would take precautions, like not get on a plane after the water broke)? And, aren't there precautions about getting on planes (like you don't if you are having a heart attack or a baby). I really am curious about this.
I did not get the test to screen for Down syndrome - with either of my children.
[ In Reply To ..]
The first child, I did not realize I was pregnant until after the screening window and the second, the doctor never ordered it (we moved with the military to a different state and the second doc assumed the first already did it). I opted out of having it late, as it is more likely to come up with a false positive and I would keep the babies either way. The point is that not everyone knows that they are having a Down syndrome baby in advance, even people who seek prenatal care.
Good point which brings up another question - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
This is Palin's 5th child and at the age of 42, I believe she would have been flagged automatically "high risk". Am I wrong?

Thanks for sharing your story. I hope you and your children are doing well.
I think anyone over the age of 35 is high risk for a DS baby, - but I don't think I would do the screening.
[ In Reply To ..]
Again, because it would not matter to me. My children are perfect, thank you!
The original thread was the old thing - about Bristol being
[ In Reply To ..]
Trig's mother, not Palin. The post is not nonsense. Again, the left chooses to attack the parentage of a child because they don't like his mother and compare it to, of all things, concern about citizenship of the President of the United States.

When Trig Palin runs for President, THEN you can question his parentage.

Only bottom feeders would make that comparison. You should have started at the TOP of the thread, not where the diversion about whether or not Palin got on a plane when she shouldn't.

She knew in advance. She stated publicly - blah
[ In Reply To ..]
at a convention of some kind that the thought crossed her mind of getting rid of the fetus.
Thanks. So it was just really poor judgement then. - I guess I really didn't have time back then for th
[ In Reply To ..]
I would think if she knew that there was a birth anomalie, she would have taken more precautions regarding the labor and delivery.
What do you know about Alaska? Not much I assume? - Backwards Typist
[ In Reply To ..]
There are mostly 'medical centers'in Alaska that treat minor injuries and don't do operations. Anyone needing urgent care has to be flown to a hospital miles away. Driving would take 3 times longer because of a variety of things like weather and roads.
Hmmm. She flew from Dallas--last I heard was in Texas. - nm

[ In Reply To ..]
That is just so pathetic. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Hm-m-m. Seems like the dem liberals are - Backwards Typist

intent on spending the rest of 2011-2012 tearing down Palin again. They must really be afraid of her.

This crap is one of the reasons why I didn't vote a single dem in last year and won't do it next year if this keeps up. It's a bunch of nonsense and you should know that....and BTW, she stated she was not running, so why drag that crap up again?

Ask Yahoo news - blah

[ In Reply To ..]
There were three separate stories posted about it yesterday.

and there you are again, Backwards, proving that you cannot have an actual discussion - We could try a little harder to do better

[ In Reply To ..]
I thought you were one of the people who wanted to have real discussions without name-calling.

It doesn't matter if "they started it first" or whatever the excuse is this time, we could all do better.

I didn't see any name-calling here. - Kendra

Besides, what real discussion is there to have here?

Who Had The Worst Week In Washington? Sarah Palin.Jan 18, 2011

Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) only helped create a new and even larger controversy. At issue was a map that Palin's political team published during the 2010 campaign. It had cross hairs on 20 Democratic districts - inc ...
