Clint Eastwood signs amicus in opposition

Actor Clint Eastwood has added his autograph to a legal brief arguing against a ban on same-sex marriage.
Along with more than 80 prominent Republicans, the “Dirty Harry” star has signed an amicus brief in opposition to California’s Proposition 8, Breitbart News first reported. The American Foundation for Equal Rights, sponsor of the federal court challenge to Prop 8, confirmed to POLITICO that Eastwood has signed the document.
The brief will be submitted to the Supreme Court by the end of the week, ahead of arguments on the Prop 8 challenge scheduled for next month.
