I would guess that this won't help Mitt Romney in the long run. I've actually always LIKED Clint Eastwood....I just don't think he did the GOP any favors last week.

In any case, it doesn't matter who they drag out...it won't erase the humor potential of an SNL skit based on the empty-chair routine! But I'm sure Republicans see the humor in it, too....after all, Clint was just poking good-natured fun at the president, right? So, we're "lightening up" and having good laughs all around! :-D

My money's still on Olympia Snowe, a woman of impeccible character who commands lots and lots of respect and who has never taken up residence in any closet that I know of.
