Eastwood sparked a parody Twitter account, @invisibleObama, which drew thousands of followers immediately after the incident -- but now it seems to have disappeared.

Obama didn't like it - wiped it clean. Thin skinned narcissist that he is.

And may sound like a very silly question, but how does one person wipe out another person's Twitter account? I am not disputing it was done, I am just not familiar with Twitter at all.

I think her popularity is a direct byproduct of the war on logic, reason, civil discourse, and "elitist" intellectualism, all separate battles under the under the banner of the "dumbing down" of the American electorate, compliments of ALEC-esque distract and conquer strategies.

The conventions used to be great fun. They also weren't as mean-spirited as the Republican convention was this year. I'm totally sick of them and their silliness.

It's going to be a very childish convention. Theirs too used to be great fun. If its anything like the last convention, no thanks. My child's kindergarten class acts more adult than they do. If you want to talk about "mean-spirited" lets discuss Biden, Pelosy, Clintons, Wasserman, and about everyone else. Their incessant whining gets old.

And I'm totally sick of them and their silliness.

Or how about the silliness that the democrats are throwing a fit about everything. What they don't get is this is a free country. There are two parties for a reason. This isn't a country filled with only democrats (thank God!!!). People on the republicans side have as much right to speak the truth and their feelings about issues. The democrats are running the country into the ground. Sorry to say but the democrat party has been infiltrated with communists - and before anyone gets their panties in a bind I'm not talking about anyone on this board. I'm talking about politicians. They don't realize that we are American citizens. We have as much right to speak our mind the same as they do. Republicans have as much right to point out their lies as they do when republicans lie. This country will never be a communist country and they need to get over that.

Silliness lies in both parties. There are good politicians in the democrat party and there are good politicians in the republican party. Just sick of the whining about republicans as though they are responsible for the mess we are in, because no matter how much the democrats don't want to take responsibility for what they have done, fact is fact.

Obama may have been handed a mess when he came to office, but he has not done anything to even start to fix the problems, or even make it look like he cares. Sick of their blame game and taking no responsibility for things that are their fault.

And that is my opinion.

You so adequately and precisely outlined the problems we are facing. I give every president a chance to perform on behalf of the country, but it was clear from the beginning Obama was not at all interested in the job, only the title. Thanks for such a good post!
