do anything they want to do without repercussions. They should check into the auditor, too, because another article wants to know why they didn't catch those problems.

I doubt they will be voted in next election and for the city's sake, I hope the election will be this year.

We have a sort of problem with our county government where the comptroller was late by law in making her report (like by 5 months) and blamed everyone but herself for problems. She hated the auditor and obstructed him at every turn. She went and hired another accounting firm and now expects the county to pay the bill. She put a lawsuit in against the county 3 times for stupid stuff. The funny part in all of this was she has NO degree in accounting. Not even a smidgen. Why people even voted for her without researching her background, I'll never know. I sure didn't. Thankfully, this will be her last year.

There was 1 MT on here who wanted a foot pedal so she could work and I emailed asking how much and sent her that. I read about people having a hard time, sometimes children die without insurance and parents have a hard time getting together money for the funeral and I sent something to them. We had floods in our state a few months ago and I sent money to 2 different families that lost a mother and a child i ...

Officials Say Al-Qaida Making A ComebackOct 10, 2012
Obama claims the Iraq war is over and is proud that our troops are out of there.  Military officials had stated it was too soon, Iraq was not ready to completely take over and protect their country from Al Qaida but Obama didn't listen. Now we have this: BAGHDAD — Al-Qaida is rebuilding in Iraq and has set up training camps for insurgents in the nation's western deserts as the extremist group seizes on regional instability and government security failures to regain strength ...

Security Officials See Renewed Interest In Implanted ExplosivesJul 07, 2011
Washington (CNN) -- Terrorists intent on striking commercial aircraft have shown renewed interest in surgically implanting explosives or explosive components in humans to conduct attacks, a U.S. security official tells CNN. The idea of implanting bombs has been discussed in the past, but the United States has obtained fresh intelligence about the desire of terrorists, and there is new intelligence about a possible technique that could be used, according to the official, who declined to e ...

Key Democrat Officials Now Warning Base Not To Expect EvidentMar 21, 2017
Key Democratic officials are clearly worried about the expectations that have been purposely stoked and are now trying to tamp them down. Many of them have tried to signal that the beliefs the base has been led to adopt have no basis in reason or evidence. The latest official to throw cold water on the MSNBC-led circus is President Obama’s former acting CIA chief Michael Morell. What makes him particularly notable in this context is that Morell was one of Clinton’s most vocal CIA surrogat ...

Federal Officials Lectured People In Ferguson About 'white Privilege.'Dec 08, 2014
One day after the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, officials from the Justice Department's Community Relations Service arrived in Ferguson. They were there to investigate potential civil rights violations, but the National Review reports that they also used this time to hold townhall-style meetings with residents and to question and educate them on subjects like white privilege and racism. Audrey Watson, a community resident, said federal officials organized attendees int ...

From The Pima County Sheriff.Jan 09, 2011
Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik suggested Saturday, in the aftermath of the shooting, that those exercising their rights to free speech would do well to consider the effects of their words. "When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government. The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous," said Sheriff Dupnik. "And unfortunately, Arizona I think has become ...

*MUST* The Sheriff Who Sold His CountyMay 24, 2011
This is lengthy but a must-read for all Americans.  It will be a real EYE OPENER for most of you.  What has happened in this particular county (no, I do not live there) is happening with alarming frequency all across the country. Why your property taxes, sewer fees, etc. are continually going up. Is your County really a government -- or is it a Corporation? How to find out if your local government has the fiscal woes that it claims to have.  WHAT DOES IT DO with the money it ...

Sad News For My County-another 130 Employees Laid OffNov 06, 2012
The last garment factory that survived for 112 years is now gone. They just couldn't hang on any longer. They did last 4 years longer than the 90 year old company, but imports killed all of those factories. It was nothing to have 3-4 garment factories in each town. Some of the workers were employed there for 40 years and that's all they knew. The only opportunities they have now is Wal-Mart or picking orders in big box warehouse jobs 20 miles away or whatever is left in the closest ci ...

ITT Tech Closes Nationwide After Student Loan Fraud Scandal, School Officials Blame Obama AdministraSep 08, 2016
"The Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday filed fraud charges against the two top execs at for-profit college ITT Educational Services. The SEC fraud charges are the latest in a series of crackdowns on the industry, which Eisman exposed as preying on low-income students while saddling them with huge debt and worthless degrees. When ITT’s low-income students could no longer get private loans, the company created two off-balance-sheet trust vehicles and raised $441 million fr ...

Walkers Illegal Privitization Of County Security Services Mar 05, 2011
Walker’s Gone, But We Are Still Stuck With His Bills Jan 14 2011 The seasons are being reflected in Milwaukee County government. Republican Gun Raffle In Giffords' County Draws CriticismSep 05, 2011
First Posted: 9/1/11 06:14 PM ET Updated: 9/1/11 11:02 PM ET By Brad Poole TUCSON, Ariz (Reuters) - The Republican Party in Representative Gabrielle Giffords' home county is raising eyebrows by raffling off a Glock handgun -- the same brand handgun with which Giffords, a Democrat, was shot through the head in January. Putnam County NY Official Refuses To Hand Over Names To Journal NewsJan 04, 2013
He was interviewed by Megan Kelley (sp) yesterday. Good for this official! I hope he stands by his convictions. Good points were brought up. There is NO reason that registered gun owners names and addresses should be released and NO reason non-gun owners would be pointed out at the same time just because they live near someone who has a registered gun.  Assemblyman Steve Katz backed Sant, saying the newspaper had exposed the names of those who own guns for no good reason, and said the deci ...
