They are not exactly brimming with integrity in their food, or the way they treat their employees.
Pretty serious accusations - can you back them up?

Do you think they're all rolling in the dough and enjoying awesome benefits? Try it sometime.

There's a reason the employees spit in the food.

You're right! Pink slime and fillers are delicious! - Al Fabbet

And full of integrity too! Plus we all should show repect for Taco Bell for introducing Americans to the concept of "fourth meal." What's more American than promoting super morbid obesity to make the uberbucks?
How about the 10-state outbreak of Salmonella - Oct-Nov 2011?

I don't know about you, but I don't serve my kids 88% meat + 12% chemicals and preservative ingredients (cellulose, trehalose, potassium chloride, soy lecithin, maltodextrin, torula yeast, sodium phosphate, fillers, artificial flavors or any other stuff from Monsanto's genetically-engineered crops). I don't think Taco Bell can improve on Mother Nature's pure products or on any ingredients I have selected to add to my recipes. My own taste buds are all the proof I need that something's not quite right with their offerings.

I guess those standards are OK for the anti-science/anti-anti-obesity crew, but I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to what goes into my and my family's bodies.

Or hiring an "exempt" (from OT pay) employee and - failing to advise him of that status,
[ In Reply To ..]
telling him he would work 10-hour days (thus giving the impression he would be earning 2 hours of OT each day), then requiring him to work 12-16 hours per day....ALL violations of state and federal labor laws? When the guy had a death in his family and asked for time off, he was told to find his own replacement. His manager declared, "I'm not here to help you."

After trying internal resolutions with HR, he was promptly fired. His was not an isolated case. In 2003, about 1,000 former employees of Taco Bell shared $1.5 million in a settlement for violation of labor laws. In 2001, Taco Bell paid out $13 million in an overtime lawsuit. It was accused of pressing for "off-the-clock" labor and intentionally classifying employees as overtime-exempt managers despite their primarily hourly-worker duties. In another 1999 class action lawsuit, 13,000 employees at 45 restaurants in Oregon contended that the fast-food chain violated overtime and meal-break rules.

But they figured out how to incorporate DORITOS (yum) as a major - Al Fabbet

part of the meal! Just when you thought that life couldn't get any better than delicious meat paste and fillers smothered in cheese and sour cream... Taco Bell took it and put it in a HUGE Dorito! U-S-A! Let's give 'em a tax break.

BTW... "anti-anti-obesity crew" LMFAO! Thank you for that.

You're glad the workers' hours are cut - because you don't like the food there?

to businesses. They do what they have to do. Saying that a business makes plenty of money to cover all these new expenses is just class envy and wishful thinking. Obamacare is driving them out of business and therefore the employees out of work.

The data on this has not changed - since last night.

Already covered this false claim less than 24 hours ago. There's tons more where this came from but it's a good start for partisans determined to propagate fact-free smear.

Obamacare is making - businesses

[ In Reply To ..]
that don't provide benefits provide them. Companies have been slashing hours to workers so they don't have to provide benefits for years, so why blame it on Obamacare? Companies have been doing all they can to keep from taking care of their employees for many years, so Obamacare is not to blame.

If that were true - they couldn't stay in business

Did You Hear About The Wendy's Robbery?Aug 04, 2010
ATLANTA (AP) -- Police say a man who robbed a Wendy's at gunpoint was so upset with his haul that he twice called the fast food restaurant to complain. A man wearing a ski mask and holding a gun walked up to the drive-through window of an Atlanta Wendy's about 11:15 p.m. Saturday. He told an employee to put the cash drawer on the counter. The robber grabbed the drawer and ran away. Police say he later called the fast food restaurant to complain about the lack of cash. In one call h ...
