I applied for Salvation Army bell ringer job

I thought some of you might get a kick out of that. Benefits: It's outdoors, you can watch the sky, study the clouds (I'm drawing now, and I want to draw clouds, so why not study them all day?) - you're raising money to help people in trouble - you get to ring a bell - holiday spirit. Also, I want practice drawing faces, so you can look at people's faces all day long. Also, can write some poems & research for novel. Downside - pay is low....
Well, not so sure they will hire me, but if they do - it's better than sitting at a desk all day in front of computer! Good for weight loss and health, that is. Only a couple of months. See what happens!

I had no idea they hired people for that....I always assumed they were all volunteers! Maybe they used to be years ago, and they just can't get enough people as volunteers any more(?).

Yeah, they actually do pay people to do that now. It - use to be volunteer though.
