Wow. So many ways to debunk your 12 word post. - sm

Notice the word âmayâ as it appears under the photo and the first sentence of the second paragraph. Do you know the meaning of that word? Might. Maybe. It is an auxiliary verb that indicates the subjunctive mood, as in hypothetical. Notice that the bulk of the article involves statements made by an Indian outsource executive chomping at the bit and indulging in a bit of wishful thinking. âIncreased opportunitiesâ does not necessarily translate into âincreased jobs,â but rather the potential for jobs. Afer all, NOTHING has been outsourced just yet.

The outsource executive then went on to state the obvious about the nature of jobs that will be created by HCR. Of course, he was acting like this was a done deal and the jobs were already his, when all he really was doing was speculating. The article then examined the idea of INSURERS (not the government) needing to minimize costs. When I read this part, it made me wonder if you had even made it to the second page, or if you simply seized on the title and jumped straight to blaming Obama for selling us down the river. Now hear this. Obama does not outsource. The government does not outsource. The insurance companies and hospitals outsource what they are allowed by law to outsource. Wouldnât that mean that, once again, if the outsourcing does actually happen, we would be being sold out by corporations and conglomerates bent on finding the cheapest labor possible while paying the highest dividends to their stockholders and obscene bonuses to their CEOs at the end of the year?

This begs the question, which party is it that is dead set against government regulation of the health insurance companies and healthcare industries? Government regulations COULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSED to stipulate that the jobs be offered only to Americans during the legislative process, but NOOOOOOO, squealed the party of no. NOOOOOO, squealed their ardent supporters. That protection bit the dust in the spirit of bipartisanship, but who do we now hear WHINING about it?

Finally, we come to the part that if the mountain canât come to Mohammed, then Mohammed can come to the mountain. Indian outsource companies are vying for stateside contracts as well by setting up shop within the border of the US. The article concludes by examining the trend of outsourcers outsourcing BACK TO AMERICA: Wiproâs Bangalore based companyâs Atlanta firm employs âmostly Americansâ (500) and plans to double that workforce by 2013. Similarly, Tata Services in Cincinnati employs 300 Americans and will be expanding.

Sounds like American jobs to me. Bottom line here is that in their rush to obstruct, pubs bit off their own noses to spite their faces by opposing the R-word, so the only whining allowed should be coming out of the dems cornerâ¦.but its not, now is it?

Gee, you are going to be really upset when the - pubs win in November, huh?nm

Precisely how does your comment relate to outsourcing HCR jobs - by insurance companies (not Obama)?

Do you have anything of substance to add, or would you prefer to continue to act like a silly child?

Brace yourself. Elections are not determined by - soothsayers, Tarot cards or weegie boards.

The more time you spend indulging in petty snipe, the less time you have left to assemble a campaign that addresses goals and solutions to the nation's problems, so I am extending a personal invitation to you to keep on keeping on.
Not being petty, just the way its headed. Obama was - a huge mistake...things will "change".nm

leadership and a platform, both elements sorely missing in the pub camp. They has absolutely nothing to offer in the way of plans and goals oriented around solving the nation's problems. All they can do is obstruct, promote fear and hatred, lie and whine a lot.
The main liar at the moment is the President himself, - ComeOn

always making false promises. That is the primary reason he will lose Congress in November, sorry to break it to you.
His biggest promise was healthcare reform. (sm) - Nikki
[ In Reply To ..]
He delivered on that promise, after decades of Presidential failures to implement the same, including Hillary Care.

He did it in a little over a year, despite the obstructionist Republicans, one of whom vowed that healthcare reform would be Obama's "Waterloo."

Who's really got the "Waterloo" now?
Yeah, and its going to be proven to be a HUGE - mistake, just like electing Obama was.nm

They can buy people to fix Diebold machines.

They have Karl Rove and Dick Cheney on their side.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd - that's who - back in 2008.  Right before they woke up and realized Fannie and Freddie, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Bros., AIG and others were in big trouble.

There are plenty of videos and hard copy reports on it.  There are also plenty of reports where Bush tried to get stiffer bank regulations but the dems were Nooooooooo. They were totally against it.  Look it up.

But, of course, you won't. Just like you haven't looked at the 165 amendments. You really should follow your own advice and do your research.

I did. the amendments are there, like it or not. - The R-word in this context

[ In Reply To ..]
refers to health care reform and the outsourcing of jobs discussed in the article in the original post. Yawn. Again, we have a case of avoidance of the subject at hand. It's really getting old.
No you insist that the pubs had 161 amendments admitted. - Backwards Typist

by providing links to the counter study conducted by Nate Silver, third-party commentary by Ed Kilgore, de Rugy's response to Silver's critique and another third-party graduate student's footnotes and assessment.

This subject is obviously a work in progress. My comment would be that all parties cited in the links to follow are demonstrating what intelligent, informed academic debate looks like without the potty mouth mentality. It is not my job to decide for anybody who may take an interest in this subject which side they should come down on, but I did feel compelled to at least PRESENT the other side for comparison, since there are always at least two sides to a story.
