And you were born to a young, unmarried couple who gave you up for adoption, rather than terminating the pregnancy.

It shows you care nothing about Steve Jobs and the good things he has done in his life. And it's also sad that someone has to throw in the political party. Who cares what party he belonged to. He was a human being that suffered a terrible disease. I saw pics of him in his later stages and it brought a tear to my eye. He suffered and you bring it up just not because you care about him and what he accomplished, but to point out that people want to bash big corporations? Seems that could have been done another way gracefully.

You know, I don't care what political party he belonged to. I don't even care for their products. Will never own one. They are made in China and I won't even go into the bad about that because the guy died. Whatever he did in his life he has met his maker and will deal with that.

I just think its sad that you used him for this purpose.

I admired him greatly. I wish there were more people like him, willing to take risks and achieve something in life.

I think it's ironic, however, that so many people will bash big corporations and the capitalist system, not realizing that for every Bank of America that is vilified, there is an Apple or a Microsoft that has impacted our world for the positive.

I don't care that he was a Democrat...I care that he was an American that was able to follow his dream and be successful.

Unfortunately, there are too many folks like you out there who want to crush the successful and treat them like villains.

First, you don't know anything about me, so here goes....

1. I never really cared one way or the other for Jobs. Didn't like him and didn't dislike him. Sure he was successful and that's what life is supposed to be about. Live in America and achieve anything you want. He did that and that's great. Sure he made some great products. People say he was innovative. Unsure whether I agree with that, but since everyone says so it must be true. Sure I'd love to be as rich and successful as he was. However, I have read other things regarding the products being made in China and people committing suicide and selling their organs to buy one of his products. I don't like that, but like I said he will deal with that when he meets his maker, and as my dad always tells me "It's not nice to talk about the dead poorly" so I leave it at that.

2. I'm all for business - big, little, or medium. I think everyone in America should be able to have the chance to make their dreams a reality. I don't bash big business. Especially since big business give people like you and me and others jobs. What's that saying....don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Someone on this board evidently cares (and yes I know it wasn't you), but someone brought the attention that he was a democrat. The guy is dead people give the political party affiliation a rest. Who cares whether he was a dem or pub. He created jobs for people and that's a good thing.

I think all in all Jobs was okay. He created a lot of good products that are used all over the world and that's a good thing. I would like for them to be built in America, but that's the way it goes.

So, you just became your own judgmental shark and did to me what you accused me of doing. The thing is though you said in your own post "my point is everyone wants to bash big corporations". Your point should have been about Steve Jobs. He was a human being above all else. It's very sad what he went through. Your OP was good, but when you replied with you only posted it because people like to bash big corporations, that kind of took away from the sincerity.

I think we do agree on people bashing big business, etc. I agreed with all that and that Jobs did some good things and made good products, etc. He did everything a lot of us dream of and would like to achieve.

So I'll just leave it at that and agree with you.
