In addition to the article below, GE is also trying to move a lot of the military manufacturing to China taking military classified information and technology over seas. I am sure the president is fine with that. Anything he can do to destroy this country is a feather in his hat from the people he actually works for such as George Soros.

         General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from
         Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing.

         In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion
         in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers.

         This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year
         but, paid no taxes.
         The same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States.


         So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff
         Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar).

         Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs.

         If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I
         don't know what does.

         Please pass this information to others and think about it before you buy a GE product.

Okay, so this is from the GE site and may be misleading, and certainly not a fan of the company because of some of their business practices, but, it is always a good idea to check multiple sources before assuming what you read is the absolute truth.

GE Healthcare X-Ray Division

At the end of July, GE Healthcare announced it would move 4 executives of the X-Ray Division to China to lead the development of specific products for use in China. Subsequent media reports inaccurately described the announcement – GE is not moving its entire X-Ray Division to China. The team on the ground in China will develop X-Ray products suited to the specific needs of the Chinese market: for example, Chinese hospitals in rural markets require very basic products. This on the ground business development will help support jobs at home.

GE’s overall business in China—across all divisions—will support nearly 4,500 American jobs, including those along GE’s U.S. supply chain.

If that is 4.5K of 5K jobs in total great. But if is 4.5K jobs of - 10K jobs total, not so good. nm

It sounds like he is referring to manufacturing. No idea if it refers to transcription. Or to call centers. Or Amazon outsourcing its customer service to Costa Rica. Assuming it does, though. I knew these jobs were going yet Trump promised they wouldn't. Workers are feeling betrayed. Carrier was even given a 7-million dollar incentive and they are still going. A while back president Obama proposed a small business hiring income tax credit. Since it still hasn't been voted on, I think small businesses might be holding off on hiring waiting for it to pass so they can take advantage of the credit. What do you all think?
