Fortmason tea - Really

[ In Reply To ..]
Fortnum and Mason's "Fortmason" blend. It is a very nice dark, not too astringent, tea scented with orange blossoms.

There is absolutely no comparison to US tea. Not one of Fortnum's teas is less than tea perfection.

They do ship all over the world. A little goes a long way, so it isn't all that pricey, especially compared to alcoholic beverages.

Mojito - Always summer. I live in FL. LOL

[ In Reply To ..]
I love a good Mojito. There are some not-so-good ones out there, but we make our own here and they are delicious.

I live in FL, so it's almost always summer but we just have one once a month or so on a Saturday by the pool.

The bar infused their own vodka with lavender. I believe they used fresh lavender flowers. They made the cocktail with the infused vodka and a little bit of St. Germain (elderflower liquer). So refreshing. Enjoy!

Here's one recipe for lavender-infused vodka:

Anyone Have Any Home Remedies To Help RelaxNov 06, 2012
Sorry, but this may be lengthy.  I will try and keep it short. I am a relatively calm person.  Tonight an incident happened and I am thrown so out of whack.  DH was out in the front yard and a suspicious character walked by then stood hovering around the trees in front of our next door neighbors house.  He was there quite a while, but then when DH looked back he was gone, so thought the guy moved on.  We called the neighbor to tell them about it and we said we'd ke ...

The federal government Wednesday rejected a request to let young teenage girls buy the controversial morning-after pill Plan B directly off drugstore and supermarket shelves without a prescription. In a rare public split among federal health officials, the Health and Human Services Department overruled a decision by the Food and Drug Administration to make the drug available to anyone of any age without a restriction. Personally I Get A Kick Of Those Wild Stories That EndMay 15, 2011
Sometimes I'll get fairly deep into one of those weird stories before I see the comment, "Coincidence? I think NOT!" or something similar. Then I realize it's one of those conspiracy theories and I almost fell for it. It's easy to do. Sometimes I really want to believe them. It would be fun. My common sense won't let me though. ...

Out Of School Ideas For Summer?May 22, 2013
Hi all, My son's last day of school is today.  Looking for some fun, inexpensive ideas to keep him busy at home and for both of us when we can be on the go! I don't want video games and/or TV watching to be the main ingredient of his summer days. We don't have any kids in the area his age to play with, and he is the only one at home anymore so no siblings to play with. He is 10 and it is hard to keep him from getting bored and wanting to "veg" all day. Any ideas appreciated ...

Kids Visiting In Summer, Still Having To WorkApr 12, 2013
and I am one who works straight through without taking time out of the day. I know I can get Netflix for them, they have their Ipads, can get some crafty things to make and some games like puzzles and the lot. I know this sounds like a lot to me but I don’t want them bored to tears. We are planning trips while they are here but then the work days are still hanging around in between. Any other suggestions some of you mothers have for the time you have to be at the keyboard? ...

Extreme Fatigue, Tingling In Back, Back Pain Mar 05, 2013
I know it is the most common complaint doctors hear - and for years I have had the stressed-tired-overworked fatigue - I know how that one feels.  But this has been going on a couple of months.  I am bone tired even after I sleep a lot.  My blood work showed I am hypothyroid so I started on medicine and also some supplements for that.  But nothing seems to be helping.  I have pain/fatigue across the area of my back right at the braline.  My arms and neck feel heavy. ...
