Favorite movies

I'm getting tired of my usual movies. Dont have cable, and I've probably watched all of mine a hundred or more times, so going to get some new ones but am drawing a blank on what to get. What are some of your favorite movies.

Favorite movies - Old Pro

Somewhere in Time.
Carnal Knowledge (Jack Nicholson and Art Garfunkel, Ann-Margaret, Candace Bergen). This one is a careful analysis of the difference between love and sex. It was made in the 70s but is wonderful.
Les Enfants du Paradis. (The Children of Paradise). In French, but subtitled. It is Marcel Carne's beautiful ode to the French Cinema.
Grizzly Man. Werner Herzog directed. Wonderful true story about man/bear interaction. (Not for the fainthearted.)
Anything with my eye candy guy, George Clooney.
And I recently saw 42, found it remarkably moving, even though I am not much of a baseball fan. I admired Jackie Robinson for what he did and wanted to see it for those reasons.

Bagdad Cafe -- My all time fav. Came out in 1988 Lots of characters not in mainstream, very well character acted.

Also, I rent a lot of my movies from the local library for free and people turn in a lot in my area so very nice selection.

My favorites are: Passion Fish, Sneakers (Robert Redford), Scent of Woman (Al Pacino) to name a few. I always fall back on the television series ER :)

I never saw "2016: Obama's America" until today (link below). Someone here on MTStars suggested that we see that first before the newest movie. Now that I've seen it, I'm prepared to see the new one. D'Souza makes 3 predictions near the end of the movie, which he made in 2012, I believe. Two have come true. The third is nearly true as of now. Is anyone into the Twighlight movies/books. I've been looking on the Internet but I'm confused as to how many series there are and what is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. Have you read the books or seen the movies and which do you prefer. I'm 50 years old, do you think this is something someone my age would enjoy or is it more a teenager thing. I do like True Blood, Interview of a Vampire and movies like that. My husband and I rented a new scary movie last night, one that looked really good and really scary, and it was the biggest letdown ever. In fact, I cannot even think of one scary movie that I have watched in a long time that was actually scary or even good for that matter. Any recommendations? ...
