The Ohio man that killed the child

I can't stand our justice system, I swear it makes me crazy! The news article, an Ohio man kills a 3-year-old child by having sex with her and suffocating her, which he ADMITS, but he actually gets a trial, because he is fighting the death penalty, because he didn't mean to kill her, he only meant to rape her! I mean, WHAT! He apparently was drunk and mad at his girlfriend (The child's mother) because she wouldn't have sex with him, so he decided to have sex with her baby. Accidentally killing someone would be accidentally running over them with a car, a gun accidentally discharging or whatever, but to intentionally cause harm to someone, especially a defenseless baby, and that harm results in death, I mean why in the world would they waste time and money giving this man a trial? I don't understand our country, I just don't.

If he gets jail time, prisoners hate sex offenders. With the publicity they won't be able to put him in general population, because he would be killed. He would spend all of his days in protective custody, so he will get his own little cell, not have to deal with the harshness of prison, tax payers money going for the extra officers that have to guard the protective custody inmates, etc. Yes, our justice system needs to change and perhaps crimes would cut down a bit.

Court is him trying to overturn it. He should be set to death May 1st unless the clemency trial lasts longer or they do overturn it.

It was a 6 MONTH old baby girl who was killed by this bonehead, not a 3 y/o child. A baby girl! That guy needs to fry!

I agree completely with the death penalty for this monster, but I also believe he should be made to stay in the general population. I don't feel sorry for him at all. Let them kill him. I guarantee it won't be a pleasant death and if I were that baby's mother, I'd see to it that he paid and paid dearly if it was the last thing I ever did.

I don't think something like this needs a warning label as we have on cigarettes - come on, it makes sense it could cause death, sm

of course, are outraged, but very conservative Mr. Kasich, who used an "administrative maneuver" to accomplish this, says it's a matter of both Christian compassion, as well as "cool economic practicality." Seemingly Mr. Kasich does not plan to run for President in 2014. :) This will be very big for some Ohioans, and irrelevant for others of course.
