Did you see the red all over the Ohio map? What's sad is that only a few counties decided which way the state went.
Do you live in Ohio? I can't find.... - (see message)

....this news about Ohio's gas prices on the internet, and I'd like to know if it's true. That's a huge jump overnight.
no one can find it - it's the great right way: - just say anything

So, you don't think EMR/EHRs are because of Nobamacare?? - MT20

Clear your head. Now, more doctors will go EHR and a lot more of us will lose our jobs, me being one. Stupid liberals. Thank God I'm not one anymore. I grew the hell up.
EMR/EHR has been in the works for... - s/m

....a lot longer than Obamacare has been being developed, I do believe. Are you saying that Obama came up with the idea of EMR/EHR as part of his program?
Hmmmmm.....no, I don't think so. My son has been working for a company that develops electronic medical records for a LOT longer than Obama was even rumbled about for president.
No. No one thinks that. - (particularly easy to research)

Obama is giving millions - Surprise in every corner
[ In Reply To ..]
May not be because of Obamacare, however, under Obama's administration, hospitals and facilities were offered MILLIONS, yes I said MILLIONS of rebate dollars if they went EHR and if they got it all installed by 09/22/2012, they got a bonus. Yup, this is very true, you can probably google and even find it. I know because I work at one of those facilities. The EHR cost our facility $300 million dollars....so obviously our facility met all of the deadlines to get their little hunk of the big cost back. These owners of the BIG EHRs are on Mr. Obama's healthcare committee.....my or my.
You are Absolutey Correct Plus if they don't - MT20

comply they get penalized and each year the penalty goes up for noncompliance.
you really don't get it - sm

Obama is not "giving" this money away. The institutions are being compensated for the changeover to EHR. This is entirely reasonable. I doubt your figure of $300 million is accurate.

My Two Cents (no, Not My Last Paycheck)Jul 12, 2016I've been noticing on a few different social media sites that a dialogue has begun. I've read conversations in which people are beginning to understand opposite sides. White people and black people are sharing their views, experiences, and they're coming together to understand each other. Granted, I'm only seeing this on a few sites and I'm praying it's the beginnning of a coming together, of an understanding that most people just want to make it t ...
Fixed A Submerged Phone For 69 Cents, WowSep 08, 2011Thought I'd share this neat little trick I learned from my BFF:
Accidentally dropped my home phone into the bath-tub, yanked it out immediately, but the damage was already done. Still had a dial tone, but no display screen. I tell my friend, she tells me to get a bag of rice, put the phone in a air-tight bowl, and dump the rice all over it. Well, to my amazement, less than an hour later, all fixed like it never happened. I'm quite amaz ...

Both Sides Clash In OhioMar 17, 2010Pro-health reform demonstrators and anti-reform demonstrators gathered in front of Rep Kilroy's office to express their views. A man with a debiiltating neurological disorder was there in support of reform. The anti-reformers gathered around him and shouted "No handouts here!" and other such comments. Incidentally the anti-reform protestors who stated their neighborhoods to the local press ALL came from the oldest, wealthiest, snobbiest suburb in the city.&n ...
Because Voting In Ohio Just Isn't Hard Enough..smAug 10, 2012Ohio voting just got a little harder, not because early voting has been cut down, and not because of new ID restrictions. That's right. Republicans are doing everything in their power to ensure a win in Ohio. The latest tactic works on a county by county basis.
County by county it is decided whether or not to extend hours at the voting sites. Each county has a commission comprised of two dems and two pubs. You would think this would be a good thing to extend hours in this state right? ...

More Obama Trickery For PA, W. Va., OhioNov 05, 2012
President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency has devoted an unprecedented number of bureaucrats to finalizing new anti-coal regulations that are set to be released at the end of November, according to a source inside the EPA.
More than 50 EPA staff are now crashing to finish greenhouse gas emission standards that would essentially ban all construction of new coal-fired power plants. Never before have so many EPA resources been devoted to a single regulation. The independent and non ...
The Ohio Man That Killed The ChildApr 02, 2013I can't stand our justice system, I swear it makes me crazy! The news article, an Ohio man kills a 3-year-old child by having sex with her and suffocating her, which he ADMITS, but he actually gets a trial, because he is fighting the death penalty, because he didn't mean to kill her, he only meant to rape her! I mean, WHAT! He apparently was drunk and mad at his girlfriend (The child's mother) because she wouldn't have sex with him, so he decided to have sex ...

Heroin Epidemic In Ohio And KentuckyJun 19, 2017Three young males died this year in their early 20s in separate incidents. I know their families. They came from good homes, had a lot of promise. They each reportedly got started on pain medication and when prescriptions were not renewed went out on the street to get other drugs.

Ohio May Try Out A New Lethal Injection Concoction TuesdayDec 08, 2009
Instead of the traditional 3-shot method they're going to try a 1-shot deal. Inmates taking the 3-shot method take about 7 minutes to die. With the new method, they aren't sure how long inmates will take to die, but they're guessing "under" 15 minutes.http://www.wdtn.com/dpp/news/local/o...drug-execution

Ohio Gender Gap Poll Likely Explains Romney's Abortion Flip-flip.Oct 11, 2012Plus a Bloomberg poll said women were moving toward Romney on economic issues but holding back on social issues, especially abortion, confirmed by other pols.

Romney's previous positions have been that he is absolutely against abortion. That ...
