First time ever (long-time voter) had this problem

Posted: Feb 16, 2016

Every one of them has serious flaws, either of character, personality, world view, experience, or philosophy - and in most cases more than one of these - that I simply cannot stomach.

In my experience, it's always a choice between the lesser of two evils, but this election cycle seems to have brought out a spectacularly miserable collection of candidates.  And yes, Sanders and Trump supporters, I mean them too - or perhaps especially them too.

It looks like I'll be sitting on my hands this time, unless something in the general election campaign changes my mind - not because I believe that people shouldn't vote, but simply because I have no honest preference.

The single exception would be if Sanders were to be the candidate on the Democrat ticket, in which case I do feel strongly enough to vote for anyone on the Republican side - and even that would be a "no-way" vote.  After everything is said and done, Sanders is, far and away, the most dangerous of all the candidates on either side, PERIOD, NO CONTEST.  In a field characterized by bald-faced scumbag liars, Sanders is hands-down the chief among them.

So, I say - go Sanders!  If you're nominated, at least I'll be able to vote to kick your pathetic wrinkled old commie azz to the curb in November.

Uncle Bernie is just taking advantage of these already - brainwashed indoctrinated kids.

Brainwashing is a national sport of socialized education.

It's siimple. Free stuff (paid with printed money - and debt), plus government

that aren't very good at education but great at indoctrination.

Subsidizing is Fed groupspeak for free stuff and redistribution. - I know a so-called revolution is

happening but they don't always have good results.

The Constitution/rule of law is being replaced with the rule of men.

Bloomberg has been talking about the possibility of - running for President

[ In Reply To ..]
While I did not agree with him on every issue while he was mayor of NYC (the ludicrous soda size limit debacle), he did a pretty good job. He only took an annual salary of $1, frequently rode the subway to work, and chose not to live in the official mayoral residence of Gracie Mansion. His decisions seemed to be even-handed and sensible.

If it comes down to Trump on the Republican side and Sanders (or Clinton) on the Democrat side, I will seriously consider voting for Bloomberg should he decide to run independently.

Oh, dear God. It gets worse and worse. - nm

Bolshevik Bernie versus Billionaire Bloomberg. That would be - an interesting turn of events.

Although it would be amusing to have three candidates "from New York" running.

Advice About Long-time FriendshipSep 15, 2010
I need some advice. I have been long-distance friends with someone for almost 40 years.  I married and had kids, etc.  She is single and having a rough time.  She seems to always make terrible choices.   Well, to cut to the chase - whenever I talked to her I have to screen what I say.  If I tell her about the "good things" in my life she gets depressed and compares my life with hers.  If I tell her about the "bad things"  fights with hubby, illnesses ...

How Long Is A Reasonable Time Frame To Get Used To May 08, 2017
I don't mean to seem unkind or anything, but would like your opinions.  DH started a job 2 weeks ago.  It's a boring you-know-what job, but I give him credit for sticking with it because he has quit so many jobs in the past due to boredom.  This time financial wise he has no choice.  So...I've been holding us together financially for the last 10 years.  He has never had to work until recently.  He got up, slept, did whatever he wanted to do whenever h ...

Times: "In a telephone interview, he said he was motivated to write the essay by “an accumulation” of Mr. Romney’s actions, like his comment about 47 percent of Americans and his decision to campaign with Donald Trump. Mr. De Vries said he was annoyed by Mr. Romney’s repeated references recently to his father as inspiration and influence on him. “I just don’t see it, ...

Long-time Democrat Pollster And Staunch Clinton Defender Says Oct 30, 2016
Doug Schoen dropped this bombshell on Fox this evening. He explained that it's a matter of governance and stability. In his view, Hillary Clinton would not be able to govern because of the ongoing slough of criminal investigations and likely indictment or indictments that would cripple a Clinton presidency at a time when the nation is in crisis both domestically and internationally. Anyone who's followed Schoen knows this is a very significant indicator of how the revival of Clinton ...

It's Time For ReconciliationJan 19, 2010

Thought this out carefully. Liberals will live in northeast states and midwest. Conservatives can have california and the south. They will have the warm climate but it is worth it to be free of them.  Conservatives can ban all birth control but they wont need it because unless they are married they wont have sex.  They will dress in long print dresses and sensible shoes.  The womenfolk will spend their time tending their multiple children.  For a hobby, the women will ma ...

Honey We Need Time ApartJul 30, 2010
Today I caught my man "doing things" to a porn site.  This was the first time and I thought he didn't do this, kind of because he told me he didn't at the beginning of our relationship.  I WORK AT HOME....
