I think to most if infant born normal most people do not insure but I could be wrong but certainly never crossed my mind. So much has come out today and this is not a trial. Slime ball is 100% correct.

Most people don't think about it, I agree...and then it happens to someone and they have to pay for a funeral for an infant/toddler and they're probably still trying to pay off the hospital bill from delivery. The policy in and of itself is not strange.

Once mine matured at age 30 they turned it over to me; I cashed it out when I was about 35 to pay off some bills.

It may be absolutely nothing, but if the reports are saying the child was 22 months old, how often is a child that age placed in a rear facing car seat. I know that it is possible and that recommendations change, I thought after a year to 18 months, most kids are switched to front facing car seats.

It was brought out in court today, had heard earlier on news reports (which someone scoffed at), now was said in court that the stench when the police arrived on the scene about 2 minutes or so after the father picked up the child was such there was no way this father could have gotten in the car, driven away and not known something was bad wrong. Instead he got in the car, went down the street, then jumped out screaming about the child. One of the detectives on the scene said could hardly hold his head inside the car trying to gather evidence.

After more than 40 years of MT'ing, I have lost 80% hearing in left ear and 10% in right ear. This, according to doc, is definitely due to constant sound assault on my ears for all of these years. I now need dual hearing aids; the left ear to compensate for severe hearing loss and the right ear to prevent hearing loss. I will be getting them within the next week. Hi, all. I was diagnosed last year with hearing loss and this year went back for test and there is a significant drop. They are doing a couple of tests to rule out Meniere's Disease at the end of this month. No matter what, I am going to have to get something to help me continue in this field or go with another job (nursing, coding, etc.).
