That makes a lot of sense. FYI: By service industry, I mean waiters, waitresses, bartenders, etc. It's huge here in Florida. I'm not just talking about fast food places, I mean mom and pop beach restaurants, etc.
Anyway, I am happy to report that there was an article in our local newspaper whereby the owners of restaurants are donating food to the servers they had to lay off, and the servers are helping one another. There is hope that SOMEONE is helping them.
Not sure where anyone here got the idea that I didn't think the already poor shouldn't get free food. I meant that if as much effort that was put into them, was put into the newly jobless, then we could prevent more homelessness.
