We are not saying that one group is more deserving than another, and no one said they didn’t want to help, I think of those who have lost their jobs every day. I have no way of knowing who has been fed and who hasn’t. For some reason, I don’t think the people out on the front lines passing out supplies to the homeless are doing it for their personal “glory.” I must have misunderstood, but you implied that anyone already using social services didn’t deserve anything else. Food stamps don’t do anyone much good when they have no transportation to get to the store. Just what am I supposed to do ? I can’t support my local businesses now because most of them are closed. I am using grocery delivery, which employs a lot of people now and the stores are hiring, so maybe some people who got laid off could look into that as a temp job. In the scheme of things, we are all going to benefit from government handouts in some form before this is over.
