We all experience loss in life. You've had your very difficult losses, I've had mine, and most everyone else in the world has too. But we're all different in how we deal with those life events and our circumstances are just as varied. We can make all the right choices in life and make plans to safeguard from loss, but there's no guarantee that we'll never suffer from it again. If there's anything positive to come from personal loss it's the empathy and compassion it gives us for others who are going through a devastating situation of their own.

All I'm saying is that Wendy's story has brought to light so many differences of opinion when really there's only one single factor here - she is in need of help, whether it's in the form of a donation, simply keeping her in prayer or doing nothing at all, she's left the choice up to us...
