Prayer Requests

Maybe we will just agree to - disagree

I think she has shown a lot of courage by opening herself up to scrutiny, criticism, harsh judgment, etc. I see how her life experiences, childhood to adulthood, and lack of a close support system now have all contributed to her present situation. I think the loss of her job just quickly led to an instability that couldn't be turned around quick enough, causing things to snowball. She did the right thing by reaching out. Those persons helping with donations are a Godsend to her. God will bless them for their kindness and goodwill. Even though you don't agree with her method of trying to help herself, you still took the time to offer her suggestions. So that does tell me you have some concern for how vulnerable she is right now.

As for your comments about her opinions of others, her dogs Henry and Lucy, and needing a spa day - all I can say is that you haven't experienced the things in life that she has. We all have our opinions, our pets for many of us are like family to us and they would never be sent away anywhere, and when money is tight no one even thinks about going to a day spa.

I think you're just automatically comparing your life to hers. You can't do that because you've never had the same life experiences she has. You'll just continue to discount anything she does because it won't fit in with what you would do. I don't think you really get where she's coming from nor how serious her situation is.
