as much as I can on my laptop here in the house with high-speed internet.

Go try to get assistance for anything (food stamps, clothing, housing, medical assistance), it is not as easy as you think it is. You dont just walk into an office and get handed money or vouchers for services. I had discrimination when I went for help a few years ago, my application was left ignored for over 2 months and not even worked on, I was told when I called to check that it "hadn't been worked on" then excuses why and told to "call back and check in a week or so", but the minute I tried to update and report an address change to a different county, that application was all of a sudden Worked On and Denied within an hour. Yeah, go try it.

Every agency has only so many dollars and resources, and minimum 2 or 3 times that many people looking for help. It's been that way for many years now. I experienced it firsthand back in about 2014.

Wifi is also a wonderful thing to get online from restaurants, stores, and such. Even WalMart has free wifi in the store, I've used it myself.

Poor planning? I'm glad many of you are so perfect that you have your life mapped out, all events for the future strictly controlled and locked in, with no chance for unexpected things to happen. Good for you.

Every time I think I've seen it all from this website, I'm amazed all over again. Are you all that bitter and unhappy in your own lives that it makes you feel so good to attack someone else and kick them when they're down?

I'm sure glad I didnt come on here and ask for help when I was down to my last $300 and had to go 2 hours away to find a place to live when I knew nothing about that town but it was the only place to go, pay the first month rent and get internet installed for myself to work, and then lucky to have enough money left for gas to get there to get away from an abusive spouse who was prowling around the house at nights and the cops couldnt do anything about it because "he never really threatened you, never came on the property so we cant arrest him for trespassing or harassing you.
