Prayer Requests

Agreed. Must be nice to have all the answers like some - here feel they do, an answer for EVERY situation

People seem to think if they've gone through "it" and survived, everyone else will be able to if they want to badly enough.

Some of these people pointing fingers seem to think every type of assistance is so easily available in every single area. Got news for you - it's not. Especially if you're in one of the poorest cities in the poorest county of one of the poorest states in the country. Then try not being from that area and being a different color than the majority of the population who are also the majority of the workers and supervisors in charge of deciding benefits in the social service office in that county. How are you going to get around that situation, Know-it-All? I tried filing a discrimination complaint with full documentation of dates and names and events with the county and state. I was told they found no basis for discrimination and the complaint was dismissed. So, according to you, Know-it-All, then I didnt try hard enough, I didnt want the help badly enough, right?

I got news for these kind of people - no matter what YOU have ever been through, you are NOT EVER in the same situation as someone else so you have no right to point fingers and tell them to "do this, do that and your problem is magically solved if you want it badly enough."

No. Doesn't quite work that way. If it did, my problems would have been solved long time ago and I'd be on easy street and able to help others out now. As it is, I have all I can do to take care of myself and that is on a day by day basis and hoping to H that I dont lose one of my jobs.

If you're one of the finger pointing people, remember how bad you had it back then, how bad off you were and think now someone else is in that kind of situation and how bad they feel.

A little compassion goes a long way. But some of you refuse to see that through the blinding hailstorm of stones you're throwing at others.
