Gab Board

You have for the most part described my ex-husband. - He was a verbal abuser.

He called me a fat cow at one point and "Why don't you look like you did when we dated?" That kind of garbage. I divorced his butt after 12 years and raised my child by myself except for summers when he was allowed visitation. He tried to use money to control me even after the divorce. He also drank alcohol and used sex as a means to control his demons at night so he could sleep. He was bipolar. He too was always grabbing me or slapping me on the butt when I told him to knock it off. It was obvious that he didn't respect women. It has been 14 years and I have never once regretted my decision. Keep your self respect and get the heck out of there.

My math isn't very good. Make that 17 1/2 years of being divorced (you can see how much I care of it all at this point). Even with the better calculation, I still have no regrets leaving him.
