are we China?

Posted: Jul 2, 2016

This is meant very seriously...

I was in a store the other day called "5-Below" - everything in there between 1 to 5 dollars.  Okay.  The smell right away was that plasticy skunky smell as soon as you walk in.  Okay.  They sure did have tons of stuff very cheap, and very cheaply made.  Of course, I can go into Sears and see the same quality really; shirts as thin as tissue paper, funky smells, a size 2x is really the old 'large' to save on material, etc.  In this area, though, these stores are a necessity now as wages dwindle...

Why are we emulating China - not really sure where this comes from or who is behind it.  The only businesses thriving where we live here are casinos and expensive restaurants, anything and everything that rich people can afford, and most jobs are service jobs (or tech jobs which go to mostly young males if they were lucky enough to afford college).  My family does not live above its means and can no longer afford really anything extra other than cost of living and a few extras here and there.  We have no cell phones, no big TV, a car with 160,000 miles on it, bad credit since 2008 due to medical expenses, once a week ordering take out, etc.

So the trade act caused businesses to send jobs overseas, and now the TPP act would open up trade so these same products being made overseas can be sold to the people making the products overseas, the people who can now afford them because we here cannot afford them because not enough people here making a living wage because our jobs have gone overseas. ?  It has absolutely nothing to do with being lazy or no good - that is a propaganda tool, obviously, to make people think that way (people who may be sheltered in their own world and do not notice the suffering neighbor next door or the young children out on the street because mommy and daddy have to work 2 jobs).

Who is in charge here?  I have respect for other countries, but I do not want to live like other countries.  All that globalization seems to be doing is making 2 classes: rich and poor.  Can this be any good - no wonder there is so much violence.

The two main frontrunners in this country competing for the presidency are exactly the same - neither one cares for anything but their own pockets and power.

...or is it from 24-hour media because now we see everything.  Perhaps this has always been the case only now we are seeing all the dirt.

Just venting a little bit because I am still in shock that there never was an American Dream for me and never will be.

Remember musical chairs:  when the music stopped in 2008, that is where we have been stuck and seems will never get out of now.  If your credit was good, you had family to help you through these hard times, parents leaving you a house or some money, you went to college - you are probably okay for now.

If you were always struggling and thinking things would just somehow get better because you raised a family and were working 2-3 jobs, but you had some bad experiences when you were younger with money, or with love, now you are falling and falling...

Sick of the 2-divide also, because I do not identify with Republicans or Democrats because they are both too rigid and too 'sheltered' from the real world.  That is not real life - you have to bend a little and work together as a team or nothing will ever get done, or nothing good anyway will ever get done.  This happens every single day in my real life - constant back and forth to get through the day whether with employers, children, spouse, etc etc.

You're spot on about the politicians -- ANY politicians, not just Trump and Clinton. Party makes no difference. They are all from ROYAL BLOODLINES (read: monarchy) and are related to each other. Bush and Obama are cousins; Trump and Hillary are cousins; Palin and Obama are cousins; Bush and Cheney are cousins; Bush and Kerry are cousins; and on and on it goes. Many leaders of Congress (e.g., McCain) and Hollywood major stars are also in the bloodlines. That's why there's a revolving door between politics and Hollywood (Reagan, Fred Thompson, etc.). CBS News did a piece, "Bush's Famous Family Tree," which includes Vlad the Impaler, Marilyn Monroe, etc. Also in the Bush bloodline: King Juan Carlos of Spain, Queen Elizabeth.

Beyond that, there are certain organizations working hard "behind the scenes" to move things (that's why stupid memes like "move on" and "change" are constantly thrown at us) along to where they want them to be. These include Trilateral Commission, Skull and Bones, Council on Foreign Relations, etc. Each one has a different approach, but their ultimate goals are the same.

If you / we had been reading globalist literature like Tragedy and Hope or The Grand Chess Board, then you would know that the takedown of the West was planned by these folks DECADES ago. China, India, Russia are on the way UP.

You are seeing Chinese crap everywhere for the simple reason that our manufacturing facilities have all been shipped overseas. Who HELPED THEM achieve that? Why, the American Manufacturers' Association, of course! That should sound familiar.... Do you think AAMT (forgot its later incarnation) did anything to help U.S. MTs?

If you really want to read the sad effects of globalization, read up on Indian farmers who are committing suicide in huge numbers because of Monsanto seeds.

We are being screwed from every direction, and it won't stop until we are dirt poor and completely reliant/dependent upon THEM. Then they can totally control us. IF we even live that long. One of their goals is to lower world population to 500,000,000. How they will achieve that and WHEN are unknowns, but with work disappearing my guess it they are behind schedule.

Worse than this is the Iran nuke deal. John Kerry said - it will make the global world safer.

Made In ChinaJun 11, 2012
Went in to the store to browse and saw the cutest 4th of July apron. It was royal blue and had "Made in the U.S.A" in a cute print on the front. I thought how cute would that look on the cook who is barbequeing on the 4th?!Yep,you guessed it. The tag said, "Made in China."I was so ticked! MOST of the inventory in US stores is foreign made. Even the Christmas stuff. I am very aware and try as much as possible to "BUY AMERICAN". Since that was going to be an impulse buy, of course I did not p ...

Imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo wins the Nobel Peace Prize.  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39570682/ns/world_news It seems that most everything we buy these days is made in China.  In my mind we are rewarding a communist regime when we buy their products.  I will renew my efforts to avoid buying products made in China as a protest against their denial of basic human rights to their citizens.  Just say NO to products made in China.  Hopefully the eyes of the world ...

I Thought It Would Be China, (Romney's Olympics)Jul 16, 2012
I just knew Romney had outsourced the 2002 Olympic uniforms, but I was surprised to learn it was to Burma/Mayanmar. Oh well, I was pretty close. ***** Mitt Romney was noticeably unwilling Friday to engage in a controversy around the manufacturing of U.S. Olympic uniforms in China, despite criticism from Republican and Democratic lawmakers alike. Congress was up in arms Thursday over the discovery that the U.S. team's uniforms for the opening ceremony of this year's Olympics ...

Huge Debt To China, But We're Anticommunism;)Nov 06, 2014
Since my last question didn't fly well with a few (perhaps because it hit to close to home in our chosen career field), here's a new one I'd like to try to understand. The same career politicians responsible for the recent revival of "communism" fears are the exact same names who pushed for us to outsource overseas from 2004-2008, mostly to communist China, though we were already in tremendous debt to them. And this doesn't this seem odd to you? To me, that goes stri ...

How Can Romney Stand Up To China If He Is Afraid Of Whoopi? Oct 25, 2012
Romney says he will stand up to China, but it turns out he is afraid to go on The View.   Romney and his wife Ann had scheduled an appearance on the show, but then a “scheduling conflict” made it impossible for the former Massachusetts Governor to join his wife on the show.   Could it be he was afraid Whoopi would call out his shifting position changes in regards to issues important to women and famillies?   I think he is afraid to be in a situatio ...

C-Span3 Right Now: Hearing On Purchase Of Smithfield By ChinaJul 10, 2013
C-Span 3 has a hearing on the acquisition of Smithfield. The man testifying, Daniel Slane states if China buys Smithfield, what keeps them from dominating the free market? Also, American companies can't buy into Chinese food companies so we shouldn't allow them or any other country to buy our food producing companies, especially since it would be more than likely that they would move the company overseas and then sell Smithfield products back to the U.S. at a higher price and lesser st ...

"America Is Losing The Green Energy Race" (to China)Oct 18, 2012
The future belongs to renewable energy. If a large part of the world buys much of it from us, like it used to buy cars, we're a wealthy country. If the world, including us, buys most of it from China, they're wealthy and us not so much. It's not entirely the GOP (and some Dem) leadership's fault, and their buddies' in coal and fracking, for trying to hamstring renewable energy progress under a Democratic administration. We as a people have developed something of a can&# ...
