need work

please pray for work for me - I have a job as independent contractor but work has really slowed down making it impossible for me to pay bills. Blessings to all of you!

thank you very much! I try not too worry and believe that God will provide for me, but I'm tired of the struggle.

and I empathize about the struggle and not having enough work to earn enough to pay the bills. We do what we're supposed to do, but God is always the one who is responsible for our blessings.

I realized that I was starting to neglect my health by not exercising. I was neglecting my family by sitting at the computer for over 40 hours a week waiting for work, only to make less than 20 hours of pay. Now there is more balance. I get out and take a walk, spend time with the family, stopped eating meals at the computer, etc. I still devote quite a bit of time to work, but not as much as before, even though I'm not making enough to pay the bills. Miraculously, though I still have a roof over my head, the utilities are still on, and I have not gotten seriously sick. Vicki, just do your job (work, health, family, especially maintain your close relationship with God). You're right to trust God. Ask God to give you peace in your circumstances so you don't feel like you're struggling. Every blessing we've ever had is from him, not because of ourselves or what we've done, so he will continue to take care of you. The feelings of struggling, I believe, are the pangs of growing in our faith.

Remember when you were a very small child and you never gave a thought about having the things you need because you just knew your parents would give them to you. That is the faith I strive for now as an adult in my relationship to God. Of course, God is infinitely more powerful than our parents were and loves us infinitely more than they did.

I know things are very hard for you right now, and I pray for you to have peace about your situation in addition to having the means of financial support.

If you belong to a church, please reach out to others. Sometimes having someone listen to you can help to lessen the weariness and fear. Also, post back frequently so we can continue to pray for you.

Hey ladies! I'm a full time transcriptionist who has been sitting around wayyy too much over the years! LOL Tomorrow I'm starting a workout program (already started the nutrition program today). I am having upcoming surgery and do not want to use what little bit of sick time I have (because then I'm in a pickle if I get the flu or something).
