I'm going to make an appt with an endocrinologist, but in the meantime, I thought would ask here to see if anyone can give me a little guidance. I just got a copy of my lab results. I saw the DO 2 weeks ago for the "followup" visit and he gave me the lab results, but only the TSH, which was 19.9 (0.04-4.5) and the lipids, tchol 239, LDL elevated.
He told me I didn't have diabetes but didn't give me the # on the FBS. Turns out, the FBS was 34!!!!
Now, I realize that with my TSH out of whack, it might account for the lipids, but would it affect the FBS? my blood sugar has always been in the 80 and 90s on prior tests.
I do have fatigue, little energy and I fall asleep in the afternoon even if I'm sitting at the computer working. I don't GET sleepy, I actually doze off.
Anyone know anything? TIA.
