As aspirin between the lips would work well
Posted: Feb 17, 2012
Foster Friess, the main donor to a super PAC aligned with Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, apologized for his comments suggesting Bayer Aspirin as a contraception method.
Perhaps he could put that aspirin somewhere else.;

Who is Foster Friess and why do we care what he says, joking or not?
So, are the comments made by donors now a reflection of the candidate/president?
That's really opening Pandora's Box, so to speak. Interesting....

Each thought that your pastor (Wright), neighbor (Bd of Ed), mail carrier and author you have read has had reflects your thoughts directly. You are responsible for the opinions of everyone you encounter in life. That is politics.
Foster - goldie - Good points

No one seemed to know this guy until a few days ago. Any donor can say whatever they want; no candidate has control over that. But if a candidate/president agrees/participates/supports the comments, then it is a reflection of what the candidate/president thinks/believes. Rev. Wright is a good example. Just sayin"
Excuse me, but - what evidence do you have

to back up the inference that Obama shares anything beyond Christian values that advocate the teachings found in Matthew 25:40, Kings 4:20, Proverbs 14:31, Proverb 19:17, Matthew 10:42, Hebrews 6:10 with Rev Wright? Obama denounced his more radical stances and left the congregation. It's a rhetorical question that does not necessarily require rant response.
Foster is one of Santorum's main sources of funding, so it is perfectly fitting to inspect what sort of agendas he is pushing behind the scenes. Besides, Santorum himself has echoed some of these same types of clueless sentiments toward 21st century women's political issues. The cons will have to come up with something a little more effective than this not-my-brother's-keeper schtick to do damage control on this latest social engineering corner they have backed themselves into. Alienation of a huge swath of the electorate base is a strategy that will ensure a humiliating defeat in the fall. I can't think of a more effective way to galvanize a significant bipartisan backlash among liberal, moderate, independent and non-con republican women than this sort of nonsense.
Cons opened this Pandora's Box during its 2008 guilt-by-association personal attack campaigns, which continue to this day. It's a little late in the game to try to coax that genie back into the bottle.
Excuse me - Can say the same thing

about Obama's extensive ties with anything Soros and Soros himself. SOROS IS ONE OF OBAMA'S (AND THE DEMS) LARGEST CONTRIBUTORS, if not the single largest contributor through all his spin-off organizations, as well as personally. Santorum openly denounced Foster's comments. Obama has openly praised Soros, as has Clintons...guess they need to shake the money tree. Dems opened up the Pandora's Box with the holier than thou, do as I SAY, NOT AS I DO, LET ME RUN EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE AND INTRUDE IN EVERY FUNCTION OF YOUR LIFE. BTW, Bible also tells you, you can judge a tree by the fruit it bears. See nothing with Obaman other than arrogance, rudeness, obnoxious, condescending behavior towards anyone not bowing at the altar of Obama.

"The gals put it between their knees and it wasn't that costly". Telling us gals to keep our legs closed is all in good fun, I guess. I find it brash, offensive, and paternalistic.

The current hot topics in politics seem to revolve around controlling "loose women", aspirin between the knees, imposing transvag ultrasounds before terminations and birth control coverage (Santorum - birth control is a license for sexual activity). Less government control of businesses, more control of women's lives and bodies. Sounds about right to me. (pun intended)
Not just loose women. GOP thinks Violence Against Women Act - helps too many victims!!!
[ In Reply To ..]
In 2000 and again in 2005, the Violence Against Women Act, first passed in 1994, has received resounding bipartisan support when it came up for renewal. Not so in 2012. It barely squeaked through a US Senate Judicial Committee hearing where it received a 10-8 vote, when EVERY SINGLE GOP MEMBER voted against its reuthorization.
Their objections were aimed at creating new groups of women they deemed deserving of exclusion from protection, namely LGBT and immigrants seeking refugee status who flee culturally sanctioned domestic violence and FEMALE CIRCUMCISION practices. They are also balking at the notion that Native American tribes should have the authority to prosecute "non-Indian" perpetrators of domestic violence. Lord knows how far that definition will extend, but my guess is that they will try to apply the "one-drop" of white blood standard. The bill protecting all women against domestic violence is currently being held hostage while cons score their anti-gay and anti-immigrant points with their adoring fringe base fans.
What's next? Repeal of the 19th Amendment?

I was wondering about that issue when the Catholics and birth control pill was being discussed. If female circumcision is part of a religious belief, is it to be protected? Or is it just a cultural thing/not religion-based.

for contraceptives if SECULAR employers choose to. Women would have to pay costs individually out of their pockets. With the war on Planned Parenthood, where will poor women go? Apparently the aspirin method is cheap. The pre-60s and 70s were not a good place for women. I hope the women of the US wake up before they have to wear veils in public.

Anybody Have Any Suggestions For A Healing Lip Balm For Extremely Chapped Lips?Jan 04, 2014I never used to have problems with chapped lips. I know the cold sores are caused by stress, but it seems every winter my lips start to get dry and no amount of chapstick will keep them moist and then I develop what I call "my Christmas herpes" whic ...
