Yup, sure enough The O doesn't believe people should be successful. But of course not, that is not how communism works.

Not why my ancestors came to this country and not why I served fighting for the freedoms for ANYONE to become successful.

Not to be confused with a government entitlement, wherein citizens receive assistance/benefits at the discretion of the governing body.

Americans certainly are entitled to succeed. No one said that precludes hard work.

Had he said "no one is GUARANTEED success in this country," that would have been true and perfectly acceptable. But he didn't. He said no one is ENTITLED to it.

In this context we're talking personal financial success, which is still subjective. However, the amount by which one defines financial success doesn't negative the amount defined by others. It's a matter of perspective.

Split personality? If it's just one pulled different directions, remember, if a person can only get elected by lying to the voters, the chance that he might be elected is really something to worry about!

Obama has his faults, but no one's ever accused him of being in thrall to people like the Koch brothers, the greedy ultra-conservative wealthy conspirators behind CPAC, etc. His failure is that they are too powerful for a mere president to break their influence on our government. I suggest electing someone they support is NOT a good direction for our country.
