Yeah, and ISIS? Well, they're just the JV team. Nothing to worry about there.

We all knew this would be the consequence of the Bush/Cheney doctrine - Chickens coming to roost

Bush should have read "How to Win Friends and Influence People." Oh yeah, he was too busy partying, going AWOL from the Guard, and putting up banners wearing flight suit costumes.

When has beating up on people, destroying their countries, and thumbing your nose at other cultures and religions ever been a good policy?

You should following your own reading suggestions. - Post wrong on so many points.

Bush DID NOT up the banner - If you bothered to research, you would find that crew on that ship chose to do that themselves to let the President know they had completed the mission they were assigned. Bush has nothing to do with this and it is well documented.

BTDW - Speaking of AWOL - Imam Obama still refuses to disclose where he was and what he was doing during the Benghazi massacre. Close associates have claimed he was strung out on coke.
Where do I begin? - Burtthecat

Don't you think POTUS had the final say about whether the banner was put up? Posters who continue to question the actions of the Bush administration and the ongoing consequences do not hate America simply because they continue to point out that the horrors going on in the Middle East do not exist in a vacuum.
No. When on a ship, the captain/commander is the boss, no one else. - Truthhurts

The ship is like a country and Captain/Commander of the ship is the President. Bush was a visitor on that ship.

The problem is Obama could have bartered for troops to be left in Iraq until the army was up to par, but he left everything slide, as did the SOS, who was too busy campaigning for donations for their foundation.

We definitely don't need another Alinksy follower running for president, let alone winning unless Communism is the flavor of choice. Not mine, though, and I'll do anything I can to keep it from happening through education and working for a candidate if need be, to voting for my choice of candidate.

Wrong. - SM

You can't pin this on anybody other than BO himself. If he's going to take credit for something being a success, he must also take credit for the same thing being a failure. Speaking of failure, he's epic.
BO epic failure is right! Obama so incompetent, it is mind - boggling to think someone could be so inept

when Bush was president.

He didn't party as president, that's Obama.

He didn't put that banner up, either. The ship's commander did that because THEY just accomplished THEIR mission. Another talking point from a radical left-wing publication, probably funded by Soros, who hated Bush so much he had offered millions of dollars to anyone who would defeat Bush in the second election.

Maybe doing a little research would be helpful before you keep up the hate against a former president who had a lot of respect from other countries. Even in the country where the reporter threw the shoe at him was arrested and jailed for doing so.

Would they do that today for this president? That's an "iffy" and "maybe" because Obama no longer has much respect from any country. Oh, and let's not forget some Dems are now pulling away from him because of his radical viewpoints and breaking the laws. They have realized they created a monster and now don't know how to stop him without becoming another Bob Menendez.

Uh, we still have allies, try France, Russia, China, Germany, Great Britian, all... - sm

Yemen's Handling Of Ex-Gitmo PrisonersNov 29, 2009
ADEN, YEMEN -- Two years ago, Mohsin al-Askari was released from his prison cell at Guantanamo Bay, but he has found neither freedom nor a new life in his homeland. Potential employers are afraid to hire him. At 28, he depends on his father for financial support, charities for medical care. With each rejection, his frustration grows, as does the temptation to return to his old life of jihad. "The government hasn't done anything to help me," said Askari, his voice filled with bitterness. ...

Saudi Arabia Strikes Yemen. SmMar 26, 2015
Houthi warn of "wide war". Warplanes from Saudi Arabia and Arab allies struck Shi'ite Muslim rebels fighting to oust Yemen's president on Thursday, a gamble by the world's top oil exporter to check Iranian influence in its backyard without direct military backing from Washington. Riyadh's rival Iran denounced the assault on the Houthi militia group, which it backs, and made clear the kingdom's deployment of a Sunni coalition against Shi'ite enemies would complica ...

Senator Lieberman Calls For 'preemptive' Attack On YemenDec 28, 2009
(I personally think this is crazy talk. Al Qaeda is in a LOT of countries, probably including the USA. Does that mean we should launch a "preemptive attack" on ourselves? War mongers cry poor when it comes to healthcare for Americans, but they always seem to have enough money for wars. I have to wonder if any of this has to do with Lieberman having dual citizenship with Israel, and I wonder where his loyalty truly lies.) By Stephen C. Intervention by the U.S. and Iran in Yemen is raising the prospect of a proxy war even as the Obama administration tries to reach a nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic – with Iran sending two ships to waters near Yemen, as the U.S. speeds up military aid to the Saudi-led coalition striking Tehran-backed rebels there.  Iran's English-language state broadcaster Press TV quoted Rear Adm. Judging Stimulus By Job Data Reveals SuccessFeb 17, 2010
Imagine if, one year ago, Congress had passed a stimulus bill that really worked. Let’s say this bill had started spending money within a matter of weeks and had rapidly helped the economy. Let’s also imagine it was large enough to have had a huge impact on jobs — employing something like two million people who would otherwise be unemployed right now. If that had happened, what would the economy look like today? Well, it would look almost exactly as it does now. Because thos ...

For the remainder of that month, illegal border crossings were steadily below 40 per day, officials said. Local Fast Food Restaurant Paying $15.00. Success StoryOct 30, 2014
There has been a lot of discussion on this board about raising the minimum wage to $15.00 and I have been very vocal about being in favor of this. I have listened to how the prices of everything will go up, they do anyway. Think of gas prices. Just talk about cold weather hitting Florida and orange juice goes through the roof. So they will raise prices regardless. But my main reas ...

Travel Bans Used With Good Success To Control Outbreaks Of Diseases In AnimalsOct 17, 2014
It's called a "stand-still" order, and it's one of the FIRST steps taken by agricultural authorities with the very first or even suspected discovery of a case of certain animal diseases.  No animals are allowed to be transported in or out of the "stand-still" order area.  Now, I'm quite sure that human epidemiologists are perfectly aware both of this practice and of its effectiveness.  So there's something else going on here when it comes to implementing trave ...
