Watching the "protests" (riots) what

You could not pay me enough to show up at a protest which begs the question, are these people paid?

Who hates enough to endanger their lives for free? The goon that ran people over, did hatred consume him enough to end up in prison?

I fear for the mentality of the US to have these things happen, not just here but in Berkely, etc.

So help me understand. Is there anything you believe enough in that you would join a riot/protest?

Confederate General Robert E. Lee, a traitor to the United States of America. The residents of Charlottesville voted for its removal. The site of the statue was also the square where slaves were sold off to the highest bidder.

Many soldiers lost their lives "protesting" this type of behavior and we don't want it rising in this country. They feel emboldened now that Trump is in office and it needs to be stopped.

I'm not really sure what it is you are trying to achieve with this post (and the OP), maybe you could answer that.

I'm not talking about Nazi flag-wavers or proponents of genocide, just a prideful display of recognizing one's racial identity. BLM is allowed to demonstrate freely (and the Black Panthers are still allowed to exist), so it is the height of hypocrisy to allow them that right and with the same breath deny another racial identity group the right to peaceful assembly. The circumstances concerning the past (only 5% of Europeans/Caucasians are descendants of slave-owners) are irrelevant as it relates to the constitution and, in particular, the First Amendment.

Did you know the ACLU even argued for this group's constitutional right to assembly? The Charlotte police didn't help matters by allowing the 2 groups to co-mingle (read up on it from an independent source, the white nationals were funneled through an exit at the cemetery surrounded by the antifas crowd looking to punish thought). It was a powder keg waiting to explode.

one hand the ones who are not Nazi flag-wavers or proponents of genocide in those groups. Their whole message is not about white pride, but eliminating anyone who is not white. Dressing it up in nice words does not change the message. I don't see anywhere in history where the white man was suppressed by other races, so the black pride people have more of a cause to rally for than we do! The ACLU argues cases for anyone who has had their rights trampled - that is kind of their mission statement. While it is their right to assemble, their history and message still stinks and that alone is the powder keg. In my opinion that stage these just so something can happen. I sadly have some of these people in my own family - and they love to break a few heads from time to time!

there would not have been a very important protest - the Boston Tea Party - and we would not be in America right now. It is important to protest something you think is wrong, especially racism of any sort. Even if the KKK, white nationalists, or Nazis have the right to march, we have the right to protest. The problem is when people get out of control and destroy. If we could all just keep our heads, but sadly these are emotional viewpoints and it will always happen!
